“My second pair of Backdoorshoes after my long serving first pair were chewed by my rescue dog! If this pair last anywhere near as long I won’t be disappointed. Comfortable, good quality, and so handy for slipping on to go in to the garden.”

“Bought a pair of clogs to replace a pair that I bought several years ago (possibly 7 years) and were still working well except that I stepped on a nail, puncturing the sole. Also bought some for my husband this time who is very impressed by how well they fit and stay put when working in the garden. Whenever I have contacted the company for advice replies have been swift and efficient.”

“The perfect backdoor shoe. Very comfortable with a cushioned insole. Also love the colour of the chilli red design. A little squeaky but a small price to pay for their all round excellence!”

Hi Jonathan, thank you for your 5* review. We’re delighted that you’re happy and just a little talcum powder under the insoles will cure the squeak. In summer you can remove insoles altogether for a more relaxed fit. Best regards Stephen Backdoorshoes

“Thrilled with my back door shoes. I purchased my first pair in the Chelsea Flower Show & decided I needed two pairs so the second was purchased on line. Great service - quick & easy. The designs are so pretty the only difficulty is choosing one!”

“I bought size 3 but they were more like a 3.5 or 4 so I had to return them. I was told another picture design might fit smaller but didn't want to take a chance as this was too vague and I was paying for the postage.”

Hi, we’re very sorry the size didn’t work for you this time. We are always happy to exchange and it’s true that there are some designs which come up smaller. We did offer for you to trace around your foot and that we would find a smaller size especially for you and send them back free of charge. We don’t charge postage for deliveries. It’s completely free but we do ask that if shoes are turned for exchange the buyer covers the small cost to return them . It’s usually £3.49 or even less if you use Evri. It’s always good to get feedback and reviews and we try hard to make them all 5* As you may note we have very high ratings for both our products and our customer service. “These shoes last for ages. I wear them inside and out, summer and winter. Bought these 'for best', the first new ones in years and the others are still going strong. The outline is a bit slimmer so they look quite neat but the fit and stability is still excellent. And still at a very affordable price. Just lovely.”
