Hi Teresa, Happy New Year to you! We were just reading through our reviews and spotted yours mentioning a squeak - I thought I would let you know that on the rare occasion this happens, there is a very easy fix for this. If you pop a little talcum powder underneath the insole this should instantly solve the squeak. If this doesn’t resolve the issue we can send some replacement insoles. “Recently purchased Chelsea type boot, which is great for the garden and good value. They do come up quite narrow though and a bit of a struggle to get on. Not a great tread compared to more expensive brands, but fine for garden wear.”

We always aim for 5 so I hope the info below will help : We use a unique material for comfort which we know helps us gain our excellent reviews - Almost 7000 5 * Of course, after time like all shoes they wear on the heal and the sole . We’re proud to boast that we do have some customers still wearing their originals , some well over a decade old. We liken the wear to car tyres - when they become smooth you will need to replace but that usually takes quite some time. We note that you’ve purchased yours fairly recently so please do send us an image of the wear your have experienced so far. “Seem ok - but *very* small for the size. I usually wear size 11, so ordered size 12 - but even these are very 'snug' fit (both in length and width). Hoping they may 'give' a bit with wear...”

“Customer services second to none. Can't fault it. Unfortunately the sizing of the clogs leaves a lot to be desired. It has still left me with a pair that I can't wear.”

“So far so good, they are lovely and light and easy to slip on at the back door when I go to hang the washing out. I would have preferred the ones with the yellow soles than the grey but I don't think they were on offer at the time.”

“This being my tenth purchase from Back door shoes, I am always sold by the comfort, either walking miles or for a long day's work. I must say this design of flip flops has taken some getting used to. They come up larger than the usual sizing. The arch is quite high and the design seems to roll your feet along they are almost like an exercise shoe. They don't slip or come off so once you get used to them I am sure they will become a summer favourite.”

“I love our clog type shoes. But the super sole flip flops a bit tight for my wide foot. Wearing them in short bursts only. Otherwise very comfortable underfoot.”

“service was good incl quick delivery. this was my 3rd purchase but it's been several years since my last purchase (only coz the shoes last so well!). the design/mould has changed slightly since my last purchase and the foot opening is now slightly smaller so they are not quite so easy to put on quickly and so far they seem a lot squeakier both with and without the insole and with and without socks - I couldn't sneak up on someone in these!”
