“Great Idea but really need to sort out the squeak!”

“I have purchased numerous pairs of Backdoor Shoes over the years, probably about 6, and agree they are fabulous. I've worn the soles out of 3 pairs. However, recently I have started to have sizing issues. I am normally a size 5 (38) have been since I was 12, but in a BDS I am size 4 - that's fine. A couple of years ago I had an email conversation with staff member because my latest new pair were tight. He was baffled as he said they are made in moulds and variations can't occur. Now though, the pair I ordered at the end of November have come up big (still a size 4, 37), it is very evident when held up to compare against my existing pairs, and they are so loose I have twisted my ankle a couple of times due to the lack of support.”

“The service and product are excellent …… however, I ordered a size 12 for my husband who is normally 10.5/11 and they are way too small so his heels are hanging off the back - such a shame as he has tried wearing them so I can’t send them back - a waste of money. I did not see any reviews saying they come up really small and I don’t even know if there is a bigger size? Sorry to give such negative feedback.”

“These arrived on the time and look pretty good apart from a bit of print smudging down the inside of both shoes. Bit of a shame but they are for the garden... Need to go a size up, maybe two. I bought these for my husband who is usually a size 10, I went for the size 11 but they are still a little snug. If you want to wear thick socks in them I'd go an extra size up.”

“Beware of sizing change- I previously bought a size 10 and they fitted well; bought same again and they are smaller and narrower and not really fit for my purpose… a shame as they were previously perfect”

“I really like the products but am very disappointed with the returns policy. Most internet sites offer free returns. I didn’t order the wrong size, but the size was too small. The returns advice of “Try and find someone to give them too instead of returning” is poor.”

“The shoe sizes are definitely incorrect you must order a bigger size, why not get it right? The shoes are tricky to get your feet in as the opening tends to close when you are not wearing them Why supply the shoes in a very expensive looking bag that you can not re-use as it comes with a big hole cut in it? Cheers Gavin.”
