“This is the second mount system I have bought, as our second child is now at an age to need a distraction on long journeys. The universal tablet holder is adjustable and can accommodate a Kurio 7-inch in a case and a Fire 8-inch in a thick case. The mount is very secure, unlike some cheaper alternatives from places like Halfords, and has survived 3 years of use and mild abuse with no sign of any faults appearing. The mount holds the tablet securely but has enough give in the pads to allow the tablet to be removed without needing to loosen the locking screw for the top arm, so kids can go from hands-free watching to handheld gaming and back without a problem. The kit took about 5 minutes to install, the instructions were clear and concise, and the Allen key provided isn't made of cheese, which is always a pleasant surprise. I fully expect to get other kits as and when I change cars from Brodit.”

“This review is for the Brodit pro clip for the Mercedes Benz E220D Cabriolet, right hand drive 2018 brodit code #313538. I would imagine that it will fit other E class vehicles of a similar age. First of all it's solid and holds the phone securely which is 95% of what is required. The 5% for me is that it's an ugly beast and twice as wide as it needs to be if like me you are using a magnetic phone mount. So, I have decided to take it off when not in use which turns out to be a lot easer than might be expected given that it is designed to be fixed permanently. The bracket is intended to be clipped on in the centre of the dash and three self adhesive strips make it permanent in that position. However, if you remove the adhesive strips and put the bracket on towards one side of the dash and then push it over to the centre, it is remains utterly secure but can be slid on and off at will. This works because the clip is designed to be centre mounted where the clipping position is at its widest. The gap narrows towards the sides which means it will happily slide on and off when pushed to or from the centre. Friction in the centre is strong enough to hold the bracket secure even without the adhesive strips.”

“This is my second vehicle to be kitted out with Babol Brodie phone equipment. In each the fitted holders were a dream to fit and look OEM standard. I opted for the type that fits to the side of the centre console in each of my vehicles and in use they have proved fully trustworthy and robust. It’s also good to know that should I change my phone type that there will very likely be a suitable adaptor that will be easy to swap over to.”
