“The box it was delivered in was soaking wet and disintegrating,the delivery person was very clever in only photoing the corner that was dry so the damage couldn’t be seen,luckily there was no damage to the vinyl as it was covered in cellophane but I wasn’t happy about it”

We were very sorry to hear that your order arrived wet, but we're glad that there was no damage to the record. We use the strongest mailers on the market, but they’re not impenetrable and unfortunately, water can be particularly damaging to cardboard. The packaging would have been in perfect condition when it left us, so this damage must have occurred during shipping, which is sadly beyond our control. I can see that my colleague has already apologised and offered a free return for a full refund which you would still be very welcome to take advantage of. Once again, I can only apologise for the issue with your order and I'm glad that our plastic sleeve protected the sleeve and record from any damage. - Holly

It can be challenging for us to notice issues with condition when there is no obvious mark or scratch on the record. “What a great customer experience… a comprehensive selection of music at competitive prices. I’ve dipped my toes with a couple of LPs and they around good time in very sturdy packaging. Condition of the records was exactly as described - pristine condition and thoroughly cleaned. I shall be using Atlas as a go-to source when searching for new material.”

“My experience of shopping with Atlas Records was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. A fantastic selection of records, even super rare ones, at reasonable prices. Unlike most online retailers, Atlas Records display pictures of the ACTUAL records, including front/back covers, both sides of the vinyl and any inners/booklets. Also, unlike most online retailers, they provide as much information as possible, including Matrix Numbers, where identifiable. This ensures that you get the correct version of the record you're after. My records arrived promptly (sent out the same day I ordered them and received the next day) and perfectly packaged. If I recall correctly, it was Tom who did the packing and he did a superb job (I also got a small pack of sweets!). The vinyls arrived in new great quality inner sleeves, placed outside their respective covers together with their respective original inners/booklets/posters/etc...to avoid seam splits, and all within individual outer sleeves. They also use strong mailers inside another strong mailer. Also, unlike some, if you are ordering a number of records, they don't just put them all in one mailer but use multiple mailers. I highly recommend Atlas Records to anyone, from the novice collector starting out their collection, to the experienced collector looking to find that elusive pressing to complete their collection. They also have very useful articles and information on their website on pretty much everything to do with collecting vinyl. Bravo to the Atlas Records Team!!!”

“This was my first experience with Atlas. I came across them online in searching for a particular record I’d been after for years. I’d always avoided online purchases, preferring to see the condition of an album before buying. The selection and ordering process was simple; delivery was timely and beautifully packaged. Condition was as described. vg+\. It came already cleaned and played very well, and at a price unrivalled elsewhere. I look forward to shopping with Atlas again. Thank you!”

“For the price that I paid for a number of vinyl items, the quality did not meet the description stated on the website. One record thatI paid £45 for has a scratch through one of the tracks which causes it to skip. Unfortunately I will not be using Atlas Records in the future.”
