“Price of two bare-root fruit trees very reasonable and delivery very prompt. I am slightly worried about the graft union on the greengage tree, so will be keeping an eye on that”

“The plants - snowdrop and hellebore - arrived promptly and well packed. Both are well grown and in excellent condition. The hellebore had such a sturdy root system it wouldn't come out of the pot. Had to cut the pot, which broke my thrifty heart. Ashwood is super, highly recommended.”

“Excellent plants delivered promptly! Strange the yellow helebores are hugely flourishing, but cold damp winter on Devon has mashed the Picotees. Sad, but with a week lovely very health replacement plants arrived. Ty.”

“I love their huge range of plants, especially the hellebores they breed themselves. Their plants are always very healthy. My one criticism is the amount of sellotape and plastic bags that the plants are packaged in. This makes them difficult to unwrap, as I am I have a long term condition which saps my strength. I prefer to buy from companies that think of the environment. Many other online nurseries have already switched to paper and cardboard packaging. I hope you will too.”

“I ordered two hellebores, one of which turned out to be out of stock, but another similar one, costing slightly more, was substituted at no extra charge - very nice of them! When the two hellebores arrived I was very impressed with their size, the number of flowers on them and their quality - I thought I might need to wait until next year for them to really have impact, but they looked wonderful as soon as they were planted out. The courier also managed to deliver them without damage, quite unusual in my experience! All in all, it was a great experience and fully justified the great reviews that I had read about this nursery.”
