“I have a Carteck, side-hinged single garage door, supplied by Arridge Garage Doors and installed by an independent door fitter, contracted through them. I was grateful to Mark & Bob at Arridge who spent quite a bit of time with me prior to finalising the order, giving me lots of information and answering questions about the possibilities whilst being fit for purpose. The driveway slopes down towards the garage slightly so it was advised by the fitter when he came to conduct the survey, that he would built up the threshold on the door, in addition to the manufacturers one, so that both doors could open fully. The door was installed at the end of December 2015, looks great and included all the features as designed (three vertical windows, multipoint locking). However, literally the day after it was fitted, I noticed wet spots appearing on the floor inside the garage. I raised this with the fitter and with Arridge directly, only to be informed that there was nothing they could do to ensure it was water-tight. My main concern with this is the entire door is sitting on a wooden threshold, which doesn't appear to be treated for damp and if the water penetration continues, will rot and at some point be an issue. Given the overall cost of this door, I was expecting an upgrade to the previous door, not the introduction of a damp problem, which will effect the ongoing condition of both the garage and the new door.”

“2nd Order for Garage doors from Arridge. 1st Order back in 2009 for Hormann up and over doors and 2nd project in 2015 lead us back to Arridge with confidence. The advice from Arridge was superb leading to their recommendations for our Side Sliding Ryterna garage doors. The doors being of very similar design and quality to our existing doors blended slightly old with new. Without Arridge we would of not known the alternative products on the market. Superb delivery times from order allowed us to complete the project ahead of schedule. Well done Arridge (again!)”

“Arridge doors came out to my home to do a survey, Mark talked me through the various options of doors and colours available to me and rang me the same afternoon with a quotation. Once I'd accepted the quote my garage door was fitted within a couple of weeks. The fitters were punctual, friendly and did great job and they took away my old door. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, they gave a great professional service.”

“I DECIDED TO HAVE A SURVEY BY ONE OF THE FITTERS. HE ADVISED US ON THE BEST DOOR FOR OUR GARAGE. AN ORDER WAS GIVEN TO ARRIDGE GARAGE DOORS THIS WAS CONFIRMED WITH A DATE FOR INSTULATION. THE OLD DOOR AND FITTINGS WERE REMOVED. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR GOOD ADVICE , PROMP#T ATTENTION WITH FIRST CLASS SERVICE.”

“Only just fitted the door, but it seems robust and of good quality. Instructions on fitting have only diagrams, whilst adequate not ideal. A major problem is the door opening mechanism requires that the door be drilled and then cut, not the easiest of tasks, always ensuring that the correct panel is used, not immediately obvious.”

“My purchase came at end of self build when I realised I could no longer afford my expensive German vertical sliding garage door. Arridge offered Ryterna as alternative. Excellent quality, excellent price and the practical advice I received from the company and Ryterna meant I saved even more by installing it myself. It is electrically operated and can be opened just the width needed so no need to expose the whole garage or let the cold in (the door panels are all insulated) when used for pedestrian or in our case wheelchair access. “I purchased a Teckentrup sectional door in a larger than standard size that was a special order from Germany through Arridge Garage Doors. Excellent quality german made door as you would expect and the service from Arridge Garage door was second to none. Emails were replied promptly and they obviously have a passion for what they do. Highly recommended.”
