After contacting the seller they went out of their way to ensure that delivery was made and kept me up to date with everything they were doing to achieve this

The Amsterdam Special we purchased directly from the manufacturer, as indeed we do with the proftfolio of brands we have available for sale

We posted second class mail instead of the courier option you requested as a result of your location and we posted your order around an hour after you place in on the morning of Sarurday 20th August, so despite a bnk holiday & 2 Royal Mail strike days your order should indeed have been delivered now

We posted your order at around 9-30am on 17th August approx 2 hours after you placed it as we pride ourselves on turning orders around very quickly.
In recent weeks even before the Royal Mail strike action we have found that first class post has been considerably slower than historically it has been in the past, on occasion taking almost a week to be delivered and other times next day - there is no consistency whatsover. We are consistent however in spending orders out very quickly after they are received.
If any customer wants an express delivery ie the next day, we do offer the Special Delivery option which is very popular & should they not deliver the next day we can refund the special delivery cost.

“as usual, the order process was easy, and the product was shipped quickly.
However, now, the shipping is done by yodel, and it took 1 week to arrive. This is a very bad reduction of service levels.”

You placed your order at 2-30PM on Friday 12th August and it was delivered 3 working days ( 5 calendar days ) later on Wednesday 17th August, so the order was delivered in well under a week - im not trying to split hairs rather think its important any reviews left are accurate & balanced.
Remember there is always the choice of first class post or next day special delivery which tends to be quicker.
