“Ordered the wrong timber without realising it they contacted me to query what I was using it for so order was corrected. Gave me a delivery date and was delivered 8:00am on the day. Driver very polite unloaded everything to where I wanted it. So overall very pleased.”

“Needed wood. Ordered wood from Laver. Now have wood. Specifically they had a very good price for just over 100m of PSE - their range was good, and delivery prompt. Needless to say, when I next need timber I'll be looking to order again from Laver.”

“15mm MR MDF is hard to get hold of, happily Laver keep it and delivery cost is reasonable, boards arrived on schedule, unfortunately all boards arrived damaged, the driver insisted on offloading them and helpfully carried each one into my shop, but slid each one off the lorry heavily onto the road, damaging one long edge, I'd use Laver again, but offload myself.”

“Good quality decking very easy online ordering. Called into Sheffield, Halfway store for extra bits and bobs staff very helpful and knowledgeable . Would recommend, so pleased with the decking looks fabulous”

“8 days to get 1 lenth kota it stinks. i should have paid a bit more and got it within 2 days. the best of it is last year i could have walked into oldbury branch and purchased over the counter but some idiot has closed direct sales to the public. Over the years i have spent thousands at Lavers not any more .”

“Laver recommended by a friend. What a touch! Excellent customer service from start to finish. Ryan at my local Rainham branch has been awesome getting us the best options and prices for our decking project, with plenty of good advice. He couldn't have been more help , superb! The two deliveries we had to have were perfect. Polite and extremely helpful driver/drivers.. Can not fault this company I will 100% be returning and recommending to everyone. 10 out of 10 guys, thank you very much!”

“Driver was given a wrong address and not told that I was a pensioner on my own, even though I had highlighted this when I was phoned confirming my order. I told the caller that I was a pensioner unable to help. Because it was a large load, 70 no. 150mm x 4.2 m he the driver declined to offload and was going to return to the depot. I contacted my builder, at a cost to myself, who came to help offload. I am disappointed that information requested by you and given by myself wasn't passed on to the poor driver who was left with a dilemma when he arrived. This load should have been delivered on a craned vehicle to avoid all these issues. I think you need to review your lack of communication skills among your office staff to avoid such situations in the future.”
