Good turn round from day of order. Driver let me know when he would arrive so that I could meet him to sign for goods. Laver did what they said they would do with helpful and friendly staff.

The product was competitively priced. I selected collection but two days later I had a phone call from the driver saying he was at my house (I wasn't there as wasn't expecting a delivery!). Some if the skirting was slightly damaged but I managed to cut that out and overall lost about a metre. I opened the last packet today to find it was the wrong skirting. So now need to call and get it exchanged. It's put me behind on my schedule now. I just hope it's exchanged quickly.

No communication between the order being placed and the lorry at the door, it was lucky I was nearby when the driver phoned. Very poorly packaged for a fully finished product, we had to be very selective about where we used each piece to provide an acceptable outcome. We also had to spend a lot of time cleaning the boards.

my order arrived today as agreed. unfortunately i only received one part of the order. the box was clearly marked 2 of 2. I phoned up to see where the other part was and was told they didn't realise it consisted of 2 parts. I have to rearrange my day for another delivery tomorrow. The staff at the depot apologised for the mistake

Excellent friendly service and will to cut 4.8m lengths of timber to 2.4m for transportation. Disappointed to find the loyalty card does not apply to online orders!

Took a week to get wood in stock. Went to pick it up. In store for an hour dealing with 4 different people, before could leave with my order. Would be using again.

Ordered some timber on Thursday 20/8/15 arrived Thursday 27/8/15, for me on this occasion one week delivery was OK. The costs were good as was the delivery, driver very helpful. I allowed for some wastage of timber so was not supprised that 2 of the 14 boards were substandard. If the price had been cheaper and the delivery quicker I would have given 5 stars.

I placed an order on the 18th, after hearing nothing for 2 days i range the free number given to be told that there were staffing issues in the London office and that my order was now being dealt with and would be contacted on the friday to arrange delivery. After hearing nothing again I rang the London office to be told she could not find my order and that she would ring Bradford to find out what was happening and ring me back. It is now Tuesday evening and I still have heard nothing. To say I am unimpressed is an understatement, I am now considering cancelling my order, I could have the skirting and architrave fitted by now if I had used another company. I still have no idea what the hell is going on, this is very poor service.

Timber was good quality but delivery chaotic. First delivery was incomplete, a phone call later to sort it out resulted in another incomplete delivery, another phone call. All the timber eventually arrived over a week later.

We often say when something goes wrong , how it is dealt with, is how you are judged. Well very good it is. I took delivery of a product damaged in transit . All was dealt with quickly without fuss, re delivered within 48 hrs. Special thanks to Steve Dunphy.

My web order was lost. I didn't receive any call within 48 hours so had to chase the order. Order was never sent to the store I had arranged to collect from.

I know that Laver are more used to dealing with trade customers rather than individuals but at every point they provided a good service. The delivery driver was particularly helpful.
