Hi Vicki, thank you so much for your review. we do appreciate that new mums take the time to let us know how we did, and especially at holiday time, it is much appreciated. With regards to sizing, there is a download next to each breastpump on the webpage which helps you work out your size, also there is a specific video to help. “I initially tried the hospital grade plug in pump when struggling to breastfeed in the hospital. When I got home I borrowed a calypso from the NHS for 2 weeks and I decided to see if Ardo had any wireless pumps. I went with the Alyssa as it can be hands free with a pumping bra. Great suction and doesn’t hurt at all like other pumps I’ve tried recently. The only downfall is when the bottles are getting fuller you may need to hold it on as the flange starts to slip off.”

“After my baby was born with a cleft palate, I was given an Ardo breast pump by my local NHS cleft team - but the team accidentally gave me the wrong pumpsets. Ardo were able to help me find the right pumpsets and flange inserts quickly and easily - they were so friendly and helpful both over the phone and by email. When you’ve got a hungry newborn, you’re sleep deprived and stressed about getting your milk supply established, service like this makes a real difference. Thank you so much!”

“I am verybimpressed with this medical grade breast pump, after using 3 different medical grade pumps this has to be my absolute favourite. What separates this device is that double expression is possible through its own plug in, which means that the vacuum and cycles force remains the same, where as with other brands that share the same plug in it has reduced the suction rate in one side of the pump. It does make noise but not enough that it wakes my partner up, unfortunately I am unsure if it would wake my baby as she is still in the hospital as she was born prematurely. Having this pump makes expressing quicker which is helpful with 3 other children around. And it is also a very comfortable suction in comparison to other brands as the rate of increase is low each time I press the increase button, which increases to higher intensity without creating that shock feeling I've felt with the other brands. Love it”

“This pump was recommended by a Lactation Consultant. It’s very easy to navigate the website, so ordering it is very straight forward. Delivery is very fast (next day) and returning the pump was very easy too. The hire is very affordable. I did find I expressed more milk using this pump in comparison to my Medela freestyle flex. The pump is so quiet that it actually didn’t disturb my baby through the night and probably served as a soothing hum to send her off to sleep. It’s not complicated to set up or use and there are plenty of setting to ensure comfortable use.”
