“I bought the pump up the volume pack which was on offer. I chose it because I expect to be expressing in the car when I go back to work and want battery power and manual as a backup. It didn't arrive but when I called to chase I received an excellent response. The courier was at fault and a new machine arrived next day. I was really pleased with the cup range and love that the collection bottles have a teat hole though I don't have a teat that fits without leaking so it would be good to know if they are compatible with specific teats. I find it very easy to clean and operate. Suction is affected by any kinks in the tubing or grabby hands but this is easy to fix once noticed. The quick start guide was very helpful as a first time user and in three days I feel I have cracked it. The suction level is comfortable and effective. I was drawing about 30ml during let down with a passive pump so I expected this to draw more and was surprised that it drew the same on the first use but each day it has drawn more. Today I used it for the fourth time and drew 90ml in a double pump first thing and then fed the baby from the breast 10 minutes later when she woke. I was particularly pleased as this was the first time I had tried double pumping in a different room from the baby with nothing to stimulate me except time of day (baby was napping). I think the baby has stronger suction than the pump but it keeps it at a comfortable level. I have tried another brand of manual pump before and did not get on with it so I'm really pleased with this purchase as it is both comfortable and effective with a smaller body. As I get used to it I hope to pump more each session. I was also pleased to see that the pack includes spare valves. Would buy again.”

“great pump, efficient and easy to use once i figured out how to do the double pumping - hard to press on the buttons while holding a pump on each breast! the bottles/pumps tend to fall over when they're empty, which is a bit of a nuisance. much milk spilt when using the optiflow cushion, so gave up on that. the soft plastic bits are difficult to dry thoroughly after steaming. otherwise a great buy.”

“I absolutely love my Ardo pump. Used if with my previous son and soon I will be using it with our newest arrival too. I honestly wish I’d found it sooner! My previous baby was born premature and all I could really do for him was express my milk so it could be fed to him via tube. This pump was absolutely amazing and I much preferred it over the hospital one too!”

“The ARDO Calypso pump is fantastic. I have tried two other breast pumps and this is by far the best one. The pump is much quieter than other pumps and the suction is much better, this means that pumping is completed so much faster leaving lots more time spending with baby. I would highly recommend this breast pump.”

“The Calypso pump is really comfortable, easy to use and clean, quiet and delivery was quick. Ordering was really simple and customer services really knowledgeable on which products were best for me. I also got the milk buster bottle cleaner which works really well in keeping the bottles clean. We had a tricky start with my baby being in hospital and using the pump kept my supply going whilst he didn't latch. Would definitely recommend these products.”

“Love the Ardo pump! Not question as to which one I would be buying. I’m currently renting one, I doubt I’d still be able to breastfeeding without it! Great value for money, quite, easy to assemble, clean and use. Only reason I’ve not given it 5 stars is because the buttons are a bit poorly designed.”

“Pump didn’t arrive as delivery people failed to ring the doorbell. Asked for a refund which I still haven’t received and informed I would be charged for the failed delivery.”

Hi Dina, we are sorry you are disappointed with the service. The courier would not have come to your home without ringing the bell as they are paid on deliveries. They attempted to deliver 3 times and left card notifications that they had been. We refunded the pump rental money but not the courier costs as a gesture of goodwill.

“I used the double pump while in hospital and im so glad i did. It so quite, doesnt hurt when pumping and easy to assemble. I dont spend that much time as double pump is quick.”

“I used the Calypso double pump for a year full time with my first baby and now, four years later, I'm using the same machine again. It has more than paid for itself and I've been extremely happy with the service I received from Ardo. I've bought extra parts as they've worn out and they've always been delivered quickly. I've recommended the machine to several friends who have also gone on to express full time.”

“Product great, but very annoying the smallest size of insert isn’t provided as part of the purchase of the whole pump kit. I ended up making myself sore using the bigger size until the smallest size arrived. Now it’s all great, but a bit of an inconvenience at a time when I just wanted to focus on my baby.”

“I have discovered Ardo with my first son and ordered one as I went back to work and it was really great choice as I managed to breasfeed my son until he was 12m old.I have ordered for my second baby as it was a bad srart with tonge tie and the pump helped me to keep the milk.I also bought one for when I return to work.”
