“I telephoned Arden Gates, as I have been having some problems with our electric gates. I spoke to a man called Alex, who was very professional and patient. He gave me as much information as possible, in order to try to help out. I just though this worthy of mention, as he went above and beyond and provided further information, of which he did not have to do. I would also like to say that Alex provided outstanding customer service and having spoken to him, I will most certainly recommend Arden Gates, simply because of the quality of service that I received from him over the telephone. Alex is a real credit to the company. Thank you Alex Denise”

“The gates that Arden manufactured are probably the best engineered gates I have seen. I work in the engineering sector and the precision, welding and finish on my gates are all World-class. Frankly you won't get better, this is a top-end product.”

“I ordered four sets of gates from Arden Gates, one set now has bubbled powder coating and some of the powder coating has peeled off. Arden Gates director Guy Allwood will not accept that the cause of the problem is that the powder coating has bubbled after cold weather but insists that they have banged together. We had thick snow (at least four inches) before Christmas and several nights of severe frost after Christmas; When the ice melted some of the powder coating peeled off and there were bubbles on other parts. The gates were only six months old and I had a five year guarantee but Guy Allwood would not honour the guarantee and sent me a do-it-yourself kit. When I refused to do it myself and asked for my guarantee to be honoured I was sent a £1000 bill via email. Be aware that this company will take your money, offer a five year guarantee and when you need a repair under that guarantee you will receive a tin of paint that does not match the original colour, a set of paint brushes and some draft excluder. There is no customer service from this company. Don't waste your money. I trusted them to honour the guarantee but it is not worth the paper it is written on. I wanted to post photos with this review but the website won't accept them. See my Google review for photos supporting the above.”

“Unprofessional and rude. An independent installer advised the Berninca mechanism fitted was unsuitable when it kept on malfunctioning. Arden Gates advised a six week lead-time due to lack of engineers and then refused to inspect, despite the fact I felt vulnerable. Overpriced and awful customer service.”
