Half the time it doesn't record any shots, I have to put them all in manually. And it's not like I can sit there in the middle of the round and exit the round, check that clubs are paired, restart the round, add all my previous shots, then start again and hope it starts working. Oh, and how do I return the link? I bought it and it has NEVER worked! It connects to my phone just fine, but can't find a GPS signal ever!

The Caddie link has spotty gps so it doesn’t always work. When it does, it seems to pick up shots better than the phone alone. Using the phone alone I’ve had some issues with all of my shots being recorded. Overall, when working correctly, it’s a very useful tool but I think it has some ro for improvement.

My only problem is losing the sensors. I lost the putter sensor and ordered a new one and didn’t realize until after I ordered that i would’ve got a discount for being a previous customer. I wish they were secured a little better to the club

Overall this is really cool technology and very high quality hardware, software and support. But my primary goal is to learn new club distances as i was just custom fitted and these sensors came free with club purchase. For the reasons I outline below Arccos Golf can't really help me. I did buy the Link device and it's super easy to use and have so far just captured data vs. using the app as a smart caddy. Strengths: (1) Very cool to see last round visually mapped out on golf course (2) great to see total distance of each drive (3) great summary stats of GIR, Fairways hit, up & downs, putts, initial putt distance (4) easy to adjust shots (e.g., putt off green to chip, occasional missed shot, add penalty) (5) Link device is very unobtrusive, easy to set pin location w/single button push (6) Dashboard & varied features are cool, but read on to see why they are limited in effectiveness for me (at least at this time). One simple nice one shows, by club, % of shots left vs. right, short vs. long. That was nice to remind me that my Driver miss is mostly left. Weaknesses: (1) it doesn't show carry distance, only total - so other than driver, it's not as helpful trying to help me determine my new club distances (i get it's not a trackman, just my feedback vs. my needs) (2) it doesn't calculate/show effect of wind & slope, so again doesn't help me determine new club distances. this one arccos could address as it has that info in the app (wind speed, slope, humidity, altitude, etc.) (3) smart distance is a range that again is limited value based on my first two points above; perhaps if i get enough data (only 3 rounds so far) it might be useful as it uses 70 percentile throwing out great & bad shots. To Be Determined: (1) I haven't used the app as a caddy during round yet as i bought the Link device and am used to using a rangefinder. The wind & humidity factors seem interesting, but again, I will have to track that manually for each shot as that info is not stored with each shot (even if it didn't calculate/adjust, would be nice to show in app summary that i hit 7 iron 170 with a 15 mph tailwind vs. no wind) (2) if i use as a caddy assist, i'm not sure how accurate pin location will be while hitting shot from fairway. i can easily set/adjust pin location when i get on green using Link but i have little confidence a prior arccos user has already done that ahead of me on the course i'm playing. i'll have to compare with my rangefinder (but then i'm fiddling with tools vs. playing golf) (3) Analytics - they are all cool but i'll need more time with them to see how they can help me. i'm a 6 handicap and i know my general weaknesses, one of them being i'll never spend hours every day practicing, but perhaps this can help pinpoint my rough spots faster

App works great , although my driver is the only club that inconsistently doesn’t register

Driver woods and iron sensors worked great for first 3 months, then the sensitivity changed to the point its now random. The putter sensor missed alot of putting taps

Most of the time the value of Arccos far outpaces the price. Definitely room to improve accuracy of pin detection using LINK (single click feature), putt detection in general, and accuracy of shot detection in general. My last round completely missed a tee shot on a par 3 as well as misreading 3 putts (2 putts were not made and 1 not detected).

The Apple Watch reading is sub par. Kinda disappointed. I should of got the link when you were offering a great price. Now I can’t find the discount for the link

It does what it is supposed to do. One complaint is that, I don't mind having to buy Super Stroke adapter, but both the standard putter and Super Stroke should be set up to accept the same sensor in stead of having to purchase a extra sensor.

This app is almost awesome and has so much potential. The app interface and the information collected is stellar. The only issue is the quality of sensors and the steep price. I didn't want to buy the link because of the price but my phone would only capture about 1/3 if my shots. I finally gave in and bought the link and lost it the first round. Before it was lost it only captured about 75% of the shots. The sensors need updating. My recommendation is instead of sensors have a button for each club so before I hit the ball I just press the button on the club. I bet that would get to 100% and fix all the issues. Until then i will probably cancel my subscription next year.

I have really enjoyed implementing Arccos Caddies into my rounds. The analytics have profoundly opened my eyes into the opportunities where I can improve my game. The only inconsistency is in using the Arccos Caddie Link as it often can not find enough gps to power itself for a round so I end up using my phone instead. Beyond that the system is fantastic and I will be a continued subscriber for years to come.

I received my Arccos sensors for Christmas 2020 and was really excited to get started with them. As a former golfer who took a 17yr hiatus from golf I was looking forward to better analyzing my progress and primarily to figuring out my club distances. Up until a week or two ago I couldn’t have been happier with the Arccos system. It was very reliable and provided all the detail I could ask for. Unfortunately two weeks ago on a 5 day golf trip the Arccos sensors started missing strokes. I decided to not use the system for the final 3 rounds of my trip and when I returned home I attempted to use it for a round on my home course. Again, it seemed like every other stroke was missed. I decided to run the diagnostic program in the app to check the sensors, low and behold 7 of the 11 sensors were not working. I say 11 because my 2 Ping clubs have sensors built into the grips and my putter has a Superstroke grip with the Superstroke Arccos sensor. 4 months of golf and 7 sensors failed already. My confidence is low on the durability aspect of this product, however, my confidence is extremely high on the functionality and usefulness of this product.

Hi Nate, Thanks for your review. It is good to hear that you were enjoying the system when it was working but we are sorry that you have had sensors fail. If you contact our support team (starter@arccosgolf.com) they can replace your sensors free of charge if they are still under the 2year warranty. Hopefully we can get you back up and running soon! Thanks -Team Arccos

I’d love to see a “game modes” option so I could utilize my arccos while in a scramble or playing alternate shot. I’m not smart enough to figure that out, but I know you are.

Bought the very first model, and my handicap dropped from an 11 to in the six range. I then purchased the second model, and the putter grip. The caddy has been great and using historical data per course has kept scores low.

I thought I would had and looked forward to the data that it would had given me to help improve my game, but I went to use it last weekend at the golf course last weekend and somewhere on the course it must had slipped off my belt somewhere and as of today it still hasn't been found or handed into the proshop of the golf course. I would suggest a better belt clip maybe instead of a clipon
