Charged me a yearly subscription during free trial. Would not refund the payment even though i cancelled it. Worst customer service i have ever received and the app itself was kinda bad. Would not recommend this service for anyone.

I used Arccos for myself, it was okay, not great and I ended up cancelling after two years of the subscription. That said, prior to this my mother was excited about it so I bought her a subscription paying for the first year and she changed the information over to her for the future. Well on renewal they charged me instead of her, which she had actually already requested to cancel her subscription and I was unable to get anyone from customer service on the phone after about 5-6 attempts. I tried the online email solution which is clearly a bot responding to you and it was not resolved. I would say the product is decent, maybe a 3 out of 5 but the customer service is a 0.

I bought the Arcoss Golf product many years ago. Tried it for a while and found it somewhat useful but less accurate than I expected and ultimately stopped using it. Four years later, I realized they’ve been charging me $150+ per year every year. I didn’t know that I’d signed up for an auto renewal, they never sent me a single notification when they charged me and they can easily see that I haven’t been using it. Mediocre product at best provided by a company that thinks it’s ok to charge customers for a service they aren’t using.

Nice idea but the technology is spotty at best, not picking up shots is the biggest problem. I spent too much time between shots trying to manage the app and keep my “shots” accurate, whether they be normal shots, chip shots, sand shots, etc. Ultimately, the program took too much away from the game I enjoy. I was happier when I put it back in its box on the shelf. I do have hope that one day they can make this a seamless technology. There’s some interesting data to be examined no doubt.

Really cool piece of tech, with an overwhelming amount of valuable insights and data to help make your game better. Works well with iPhone, Apple Watch and especially with the Arccos link. I am a bit underwhelmed with the Apple Watch app as there should be the ability to see the map of the hole on your wrist instead of having to continue to see the hole through your iPhone. Tag Hauer has done a great job with exactly that , and I’d love to see Arccos follow suit with a hole map added onto Apple Watch. Otherwise it’s a pretty solid system and I imagine I will use it at least for the next year.

I purchased a couple of these set secondhand and found they worked great at first but now find they don’t pick up shots at times and don’t always detect you have finish Previous hole and have taken the shot off the next tee as I have had shot from next the on various courses showing I hit my driver 380 yards when my average is about 220yards which is not going to happen even with a tail wind, I have had shots with my previous 3 wood hitting 490 & 330 showing that I hit that between 2 particularly holes 1 par 3 hole 160yards long then playing a par 4 300yards long and not registering any strokes in between therefore hitting a 490 long 3 wood. Why can’t it allow to set the hole each shot is made on. Also now some of they sensors are starting to fail not sure if this is the battery gone flat or if it’s the sensor itself. Think the design would be better if they allowed the battery to be changed or recharged like the the link sensor. Surely this would make the product more saleable to the masses. As it is now after 2 years you need to spend another £300 on new sensor. Although they I feel are still better than their rivals Garmin approach ct10 and their app.

Sadly they have an interesting way of not refunding money if you cancel your subscription, they are a little lax in cancelling their money collection. If you don't notice this in 30 days (their grace period) they refuse to refund your money, How on earth is this right or fair?

I had been a fan of Arccos having been a customer for a season and a half, recording nearly 4,000 shots. With that said I am choosing not to be a customer in the coming season. When my subscription was being renewed, it was linked to an expired card. While trying to update my card I reached out to starter@arccosgolf.com and rather than answering my question and walking through the solution, they decided to cancel my subscription and asked me to resubscribe. The problem with this is, when I was getting the error through apple pay saying the charge was $120, which I provided to the help staff, they said I need to pay an increased rate of $155. I understand that the price of the service needed to increase. I have no issue with a business doing business, the issue I had was the unauthorized cancelling of my subscription and asking me to pay a greater amount that what I had been promised. The data is very useful and they are doing great to grow the game of golf but sadly, unless they can make this situation right to me, I will be going into the 2023 season without them.

The Arccos Caddie is like having another golf coach. It lets me review my round for improvement opportunities and also allows me to relish the amazing shots for the day. So, if you are a tech geek like me, Arccos Golf is a must have for your game.

As a relatively new golfer these sensors and the data gathered and presented in the app are extremely helpful to the improvement of my game. Additionally, the club recommendations and the smart distances that take into consideration wind, humidity, and shot angle (up/down) are great while on the course. The sensor and app interaction isn’t perfect. But, it’s close enough. I tend to take a look and make sure it has recoded the correct number of putts (its most frequent incorrect data) after each hole. I do have to babysit the app a little and do a small handful of edits every round. Every once in awhile the app crashes on iOS requiring me to restart it and do an edit to add the shots that it missed - the nice thing is that I do get a notification when that happens so I’m not just going on my merry way for a long time without the app tracking shots. That said, I still think it’s phenomenal. As a software engineer I am very impressed by both the software itself, as well as the hardware integration with the sensors.

Love the info you get, the stats are great. Only concern or issue I have had is with shot not registered. I also think it would be nice to have a an option to change a putt from the fringe to not count as a putt but not effect your chipping or wedge stats.

I have been a user for about 8 years now so I have been along for the ride with Arccos as they are constantly improving their product. Upgrading their software adding new features and measurables and now upgrading the club sensors. Although I am still using the original sensors. Great product looking forward to upgrading to new sensors as soon as I can afford it.

It was exciting to see the product video, and I purchased and used the sensors, the smartlink, and app for 1 year, with free membership. Total cost about $250. You can expect to have an poor to average experience with this product. Here's some detail. 1. Sensors - they have 2 year warranty and replacements are shipped free. Their customer service is very prompt. However, I needed to change 7 of the 14 sensors in the first 10 months. So their quality is not good at all. 2. App - The phone app is not designed well, as drains the battery within 3 hours, while my phone usually lasts over 1 day without recharging. It takes a long time to respond to clicking on different rounds to check scores. It does not recalculate numbers after you fix the mistakes made by smartlink system (eg when you used an iron, but it did not pick up the stroke, and your drive shows you hit 350 yards) 3. Smartlink - it picks up 70% of the shots, and it is frustrating to keep correcting it by adding shots while trying to focus on the game. It also has outdated info on some courses, so you can end up the wrong distances if you rely on it. I played over 30 courses. Sometimes when you correct the score, it will go back and reverse it, even if you clearly finished the hole and went to the next one. The fact that the sensors stop working sometimes, causes the smartlink to keep scoring wrong, and it is not worth it. 4. Customer service is very prompt and good. 5. Overall, the sensors are below average, as they stop working within 3-4 months, and the smartlink often messes up, so you cannot focus on the game if you look at the app. And, afterwards, it is impossible to keep correcting all the errors in the shots and scores.

When they work right they're really good. When they're not working right, quite a distraction.

Love the stats it gives after each round. Works decent to track shots. I just check it after every hole to make sure it's accurate. Haven't been able to use caddie mode yet but if that's good it's worth the money.

I enjoy using the Arccos golf sensors on my clubs and the app which has helped me better understand how I'm playing and the areas I need to work on. There are a few things that I have an issue with 1) It may just be my luck but I've had several sensors quit working in less than a year of use but thankfully Arcocos has always replaced those without any cost. 2) I use the link so that I don't have to carry my phone in my left front pocket. Arccos recommends clipping this to your belt on the left side, but I've had issues with it there when wearing a sweatshirt or rain jacket the link gets covered up. So, I've found that if the link is connected to the left front pocket this issue can be avoided and I don't have any issues with missing shots. 3) I wish there was some way that when I use a club to get out of the trees for example that the distance wouldn't affect the average I normally would hit that club. Overall though I am happy to be using Arccos.

I returned it for a refund. It missed more shots in one round of golf than the Shots Scope system I had missed in two rounds.
