“The ASSET course offered by Arbtech is a great place to start if you’re new to Ecology. The staff are very friendly, easy-going and knowledgeable. Attending the ASSET course was a great opportunity to learn about various fields in Ecology and I liked the balance between taught material and practical workshops. I would particularly like to send my regards to one of their outstanding ecologists, Craig Williams, who has been incredibly supportive throughout ASSET and has always gone the extra mile for clients and surveyors alike. Arbtech are fortunate to him on their team and thank you for everything Craig :)”

“I took part in the ASSET summer course 2019(Feb-June) after signing up for it last minute and I have to say it's one of the best decisions I made career-wise! The course is very well-structured; from the beginning, I learnt pretty much all the essentials of working in ecology, from desk-based work such as QGIS & PEAs/PRAs, to then learning how to conduct protected species surveys(a lot of practical work too as well as theory). Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and approachable; they give off a very friendly atmosphere. I also had the chance to shadow them on their surveys which I found really helpful. But what I like the most is their post-course support. After I passed the ASSET course, they were, and still are, always there to help if I have any questions or need advice - you're treated like a member of a big family! I encourage anyone seeking a career in ecology to sign up for this course - you won't regret it!”

Alongside ASSET, Arbtech provides candidates with a plethora of practical opportunities, for those with the drive to go out and make the most of what is offered. The course is well structured and utilises both classroom and practical delivery methods, fronted by a series of industry, and field professionals. ASSET provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to improve both on a personal and a professional level. I would 100% recommend ASSET to any person who is commited to progressing in the field of ecology.”

“The bat survey procedure was explained and undertaken in a highly professional manner. The explanation, survey and report provided us with an excellent understanding of the bat activity in the vicinity of our building. We would have no hesitation in recommending Arbtech in the future.”

“Once and awhile you find yourself a little lost,but if you keep looking something invariably comes along. Having been involved in Arb/Forestry and various other environmental practice's over a 30 some year period,travelling extensively, I found myself looking for that "something". So here I find myself amongst already highly qualified individuals with limited qualifications myself.Such is the accepting nature of the course I don't feel remotely out of place. For anyone who attends this course not only does it offer a key to their future,but the enlightenment it offers leaves you craving for more.”
