“So far so rubbish. Not clear on timeline. Not correct person named on report. Not receiving report via email unless phoning company to directly request it. £500 + initial consult with awful follow-up service. Company booked on first survey and then due to slack follow up as described above said they were unable to accommodate the subsequent surveys except within a whole year timeline. Not acceptable.”

Dear Julia, We would like you to remove or withdraw your completely false review. It is simply unethical to leave negative reviews in the public domain simply because events outside of your (and our) control are not wholly and completely in your favour. You/your agent (whom you authorised to appoint us in writing) were advised in writing on the 13th of July that you required further surveys and then you/your agent took almost a month to respond, by which point the season has almost finished. It should therefore come as no surprise that we could not accomodate you because other, more organised clients have appointed us to capacity in the meantime. The £500+ you quote a); is our price including VAT, and b); is not an "initial consult" at all. It was a full PRA bat survey, quoted for in writing, in some considerable detail, on which you appointed us. It was a fixed-fee and included our expenses, travelling time, site survey, mileage and your report. Finally, your report was (and is) entirely correct and accurate. Any delays for you to complete your further surveys are entirely because you/your agent took almost a month to respond to us, at a highly critical time in the year. “Natalie and her team were very professional turning up and carrying out the Bat surveys quietly and efficiently, resulting in a very detailed report. Having no idea about the implications of bats with regards to our re-roof, Natalie answered our many questions appropriately and courteously. Now we carry on with Arbtech to get a bat licence through Natural England before our re-roof can take place.”

“Natalie was very professional and thorough in assessing our house for bats. I was totally amazed when we received the bat report the same day it was done! We have had lots of delays and Natalie has tried to help in speeding the proceedings up, which was much appreciated! Although we do have bats present in the 1st floor roof, she also provided a second report (and kindly did it over the weekend!) to reflect a ground floor area where there was no bat activity and hopefully we will now get planning permission through on that basis! Well done Arbtech and thank you! I would recommend this company.”

“Having had a really bad experience with a different ecological company we found Natalie Evans from Arbtech to be professional and helpful. She has helped us with our planning application following the required surveys and report with a pragmatism and professionalism that we have really appreciated. Our planning application is going forward, the bats are being properly looked after and we feel we have got real value for money”

“This was our first experience employing Arbtech and we will certainly be using them again. We appointed Arbtech to carry out a preliminary bat roost assessment and BERS. Every member of the team I communicated with were polite and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate our requests. A special thank you to James Fielding who drove from Devon to complete a survey for us in Farncombe to help meet our planning deadline. Highly professional, knowledgeable and all for a very reasonable fee. Highly recommended.”

“We requested a quote during one of the busiest times of year. Arbtech responded quickly with a clear and comprehensive proposal. Once we accepted the local ecologist Jo got in touch chatted through what to expect and provide so really good explanatory documents. We met Jo on site she was friendly and informative. The report was issued quickly and provided a great report clearly laid out and exactly what is required.”

“Our ecologist from Arbtech demonstrated her expertise and was extremely helpful and accommodating: we were asked to provide a preliminary bat survey at the last minute and she was able to make time in her schedule to visit site and wrote the report within 24hrs. I can certainly recommend Arbtech and will use their services again.”

“Our architect recommended we use Arbtech following a request from Chichester council for a bat survey. Natalie came to do our first initial survey for us, she was very competent and professional and produced an extremely comprehensive report. We are using them again for a second phase survey and they will produce the required paperwork we will need to present to the council, in order for our Planning Application to proceed. We highly recommend them”
