Loved my MEGA box and my order was great, delivery time wasn't good I ordered on the 9th and received on the 17th - customer service needs improving too as once it went past 5 days nobody got back to me. Loved my order, especially my MEGA box, service needs improving. Xx

Delivery times are longer theses days . And some of the foods are stale

Ordered 20 packs of pistachio to discover they expire at the end of thi year so only 6 weeks expiry. I eat many brands of these nuts and these are not the best tasting so far. Malt loaf feels stale and are also expiring in a few weeks. The costs should have been a fraction of what was charged.

From what I can see all the items you ordered should have been 2024 dated so we will need to look into this and get it sorted for you. One of the promotions never arrived and disappeared off the invoice although it was definitely added! Raised a complaint to no avail. All other items fine but just double check before you hit the button to pay

4 days from order to delivery, then received mouldy Soreen loaves. They did respond quickly and refunded the cost of the loaves, but won't buy from here again

Ordered a surprise box for £1 - very disappointed with the quality of the items - all totally out of date 2021 - foul tasting Coke Max and Peach Tea - the same with out of date and stale crisps. I promised my husband, son and daughter that I would never be tempted to order a surprise box again! I had simply paid to dispose of someone elses waste. Other items in date were fine and reasonably priced.

I can see from your invoice that the Lucky Box you purchased was our 2021 dated box, (which explains the dates on the items). If you aren't happy with the items you received you should definitely drop us a message in future as we are always happy to help and do not expect customers to have to put up with items they aren't happy with. Items were missing from my order I’ve contacted customer services and got no reply or refund. Wasn’t even told the item wasn’t available anymore but was still charged. I’ve used this company a few times with no problems will not be using them again

Hi Gemma, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm really sorry for any confusion caused by this issue. We did respond to your email on Tuesday morning but it could be that our reply has slipped into your spam folder since we never heard anything back from you. I can confirm the item missing from your order was credited back to your account (and you should have received an email to confirm this) after being marked as out of stock. The items are automatically credited rather than refunded, as we don't have the facility to issue an automatic refund due to not storing any financial information. We do however have the facility to manually refund* the credit back to the payment instead on request if you would prefer this. A member of our customer service team will process this for you and get in touch to let you know this has been done. If you don't see that email, you may need to check your spam folder. The one thing you have to watch and check is the fact you can sometimes buy an in date product as cheap or very near from a supermarket which makes it not such a bargain.

We used to order regularly, unfortunately Approved Food is no longer selling much food. It is now dominated by toiletries and pet food.

Some very good bargains to be had. Not very impressed with ordering products on offer, making up the minimum price to checkout then between me paying and my delivery being picked and packed the products are over sold and I end up not getting the items I really really wanted and get a refund from approved food which is nice bit not what I want. This has happened to my last 3 deliveries in a row and I'm now not using them anymore due to the relentless let downs. Mainly focused around cola but not impressed with the warehousing system being used.
