We usually aim to have orders delivered within 3-5 working days and while we try ensure orders are received well before the 5 working days, at busier times of the year we find this a bit harder to meet, especially due to high demands with the couriers. If you order with us again in future and would prefer for your order to be delivered quicker, you have the option to pay an extra £2.00 for our "Rush My Order" service. This prioritises the picking of an order and ensures it is sent out within 2 working days, even during busy periods. Cheap, but all arrived in extremely damaged boxes. Unable to use for gifts, have had to remove from boxes. Which doesn’t look great. Disappointed, but obviously this is why they were cheaper

All the units were dirty . None of the units had the plastic caps on them. The units seemed old and had to be cleaned before putting them up on shelf

Food no issues at all . However this delivery has left me wondering whether to come again . My delivery was classed as delivered but I was home and no one came to my door to try and attempt to deliver my parcel. I received email saying delivered and then I had to go try locate the parcel. My parcel was,also opened as the pharmacy where parcel was placed couldn't find my name ... but my delivery address was on it so why they opened it I don't know. Then I had to carry. My parcel for a mile on my to get it home . Then I felt like absolutely knackered when I finally got home carrying my parcel which was prob about 15kg give or take . Luckily I never had my dog with me which would have been even worse f9r me . Always been delivered to my door before with photo taken in my house to say its been delivered. But not this time and no reason for it when my home is only a mike away from the place where my parcel was dumped .

Not happy with the delivery as 2 cans of Coke Cola were deflated and put in the bin, the chocolate peanuts were open and scattered over the bag and the card box was soaking !!

One bag of pasta had split open,one packet of rice had a big hole in it as a result there was a layer of pasta and rice over everything

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! I'm really to sorry to hear your disappointment with your recent order. I can see the reason for the missing items in your order was due to them being out of stock at the time of picking this. When an order is placed the items paid for are reserved for that order, with stock levels being altered accordingly on the website meaning that the stock is accurate. However, sometimes we may need to remove items from sale due to a number of different reasons, and if this is the case then any outstanding which include removed items will be affected, with the account being credited accordingly. The items are automatically credited rather than refunded, as we don't have the facility to issue an automatic refund due to not storing any financial information. But we are able to manually refund the credit back to the payment method on request of the customer. We can only apologise again for any disappointment caused by this. Received items, paid the extra £2.00 for raster delivery but that didn't happen so won't do that again. Boxes were crushed. No longer get invoice in box like used to that was a handy thing to check of products. Not sure if will buy again, been a while since shopped there but doesn't seem the same and as exciting as used to be. I do like the mystery box, that is exciting to receive. Sorry for this isn't the best review.

We ask if you ever run into issues with your order like this, that you just drop us an email at cs@approvedfood.co.uk as we are always happy to help! Just to clear up any confusion. The extra delivery cost you paid was to push your order to top of our pick queue. I can see your order was placed at 11:05am and packed at 11:48am. This will have been sent out that same day but the couriers we use only deliver Monday to Friday. So, since this was dispatched on a Friday this wasn't delivered till the following Monday. In terms of checking your order, we have now gone paperless so you should be able to review all orders under the "My Orders" page when logged into your account. I hope this helps! Alternatively, if you drop us a message, we are able to email your order invoice if you needed. Any issues you had in this order due to the boxes being damaged, please feel free to get in touch and let us know! We can always sort something for you! the goceris section often has far to few items in it to fill a basket and complete an order (either that or the website is not displaying the goods) often as little as 20 items accessable on screen ALSO PLEASE SEPERATE FOOD AND COSMETICS

The products good - but the customer service is appalling - top only order if you are sure you won’t cancel as by the time they deal with your cancellation request it’s too late. Requests and emails take a long time to be dealt with meaning you miss the window for refund and cancellation also … messaging on Facebook doesn’t work so don’t waste your time

I have used approved food a few times without a problem however my last purchase of ferrero richer was bad. Whilst I accept these are out of date these were 3years old and soft and inedible

Have had numerous orders from Approved Foods . On my last order they delivered a wring order . Picking error I guess? I contacted customer services to resolve this matter . Unfortunately I have hear nothing back . Guess this will be the last time I use approved foods. Disappointing customer Service !

I have used the Approved food service several times in the past and was pleased to order a variety of products, even if they were past their best-before date, like chocolate, fizzy drinks, crisps, and the occasional alcohol. However, lately, I haven't found much that interests me. There are maybe 2-3 items that are okay and often cost very little (case price deals, 10p or 50p deals), but these are limited to 1 or 2 per customer and usually sold out fast. The rest of the products often aren't much cheaper than in high street discounted shops. To get my shopping, I also need to reach a minimum spend of £22.50. I will also need to pay for the delivery. I wouldn’t mind if the selection included good, interesting food, but often it consists of protein shakes, decaf tea/coffee, SlimFast chocolate bars, energy drinks, and other very specific products that aren't suitable for many people, especially not for me. Additionally, the food on offer, especially chocolate bars, is not much cheaper than in discounted high street shops like Poundland. The only difference is that in high street shops, the food items are in date and there's no minimum spend required. I'm not sure if I like the Approved food anymore.

It started off ok but I was not impressed with the way items seemed to just be thrown in boxes, bottle tops unchecked so contents leak onto other items & as for offering years out of date food items seems unhealthy to me

some food is good vale but other can be bought cheaper on the high street. I have used Approved for years but found on several occasions that even though I have purchsed and paid for items I am then informed they are out of stock so sent a refund. They really need to resolve this issue with stock control and it is very frustrating. Disappointly on one occasion when I ordered several expensive items they mysteriously went missing. Whilst I don't want to think it is one of their employees it is quite concerning. However they do stock some good quality items at a good price.
