“The Approved Food website is a fascinating trove of items, and like all such collections, there are gems of all sorts for different folks. Their order and online 'basket' works well, and their communications are good. The orders are packed better than ever, and, considering the vast array of different products they have to assemble, deliveries are in good condition. If I had to make one recommendation - it would be that it would be useful if their courier could advise which hour they would be delivering the orders - a facility that many more couriers are now offering and that I (particularly) find useful.”

“I have been buying from Approved Food Ltd for several years now and I am very pleased with the goods. Anything delicate is carefully wrapped and everything is exactly as described. I have two strapping teenage lads and this is great for their packing up - crisps, cereal bars, biscuits, treats etc. It doesn't matter that there is a short date - they don't last long in our house anyway! Tins and jars enable us to have more choice for meals as the price is much more acceptable. Thank you Approved Food> Kay”

“Having watched the "Dragons Den" program I was fascinated by the concept of Approved Food, and very aware that it would be of real benefit to people like me. I do believe that a lower minimum order value would encourage new users - certainly if it were a "Trial Offer" but also feel that the free delivery level could be reduced. Approved Food is excellent value for 90% of what is offered whether it is UK Product or French - there are occassionally items that are cheaper elsewhere, but they are few and far between. Chjoice and Variety are excellent and the Case Price and Box deals worth looking for.”

“I can get all my heavy items delivered to my door and my partner and I live opening the surprise boxes because they’re such good value for money. Their delivery has improved and is now pretty fast and everything is packed sufficient as to not break. The only cons I have are it’s a bit too much packaging, creates quite a bit of waste/recycling and therefore isn’t very environmentally friendly. Also if you’re browsing in the morning but need to go do something you can’t resume to your basket, you have to start all over again!”

“Sometimes they get it wrong or items are damaged in transit but generally ok - they try to sort out any problems quickly with a view to customer satisfaction. I am always amazed at the variety of foods and non-food items on this site. Dan and his van are always out and about looking for bargains to be had !!”

“When things go right you can make great savings. The minimum order is quite high so you normally have to buy items you don't need so much or pay the 5.99 postage. Customer service is OK but slow and things can and do go wrong, you have to be patient it often takes 48h+ for a response. Like I say it can be worth it as some of the savings are huge but you have to put the time in to find them and if you leave things in your basket too long without completing the sale they will likely disappear!”
