“For a start off parcel was left outside the driver didnt even bother to knock. Not sure if it was good value or not much cheaper than local shops”

“Good quality products and quick delivery. Pound bargain box was brilliant. Only reason not 5 stRs is though the 4 bottles of Stella were individually bubble wrapped one had broken, so box was a mess (fortunately no damage to other products) but had to be very careful with broken glass.”

“The food and drinks etc are as good as you would buy from any supermarket. Perfectly good quality and taste the same. I'm not sure I will buy from them agai though as the delivery company DX is shocking. Everytime I have damaged items. This time they delivered a box 3 days late with no communication at all it arrived slashed open badly shrink wrapped with all the petfood spilling over the floor. The first box had 2 big bags of onion rings which were flattened and burst open, everything else was covered in these. The driver was very apologetic he was embarrassed to deliver it. I needed the food if ran out so I reluctantly accepted it. Would be a 5 star review if not for constant delivery problems”

“I've had four orders with this company, and I've had problems with every one of them. Whether it's slow delivery, damaged goods and poor customer service response, or failure to implement 'Free Delivery', there's always a problem. You would think after a couple of bad orders that I would learn, but I kept thinking that it had to improve. It didn't.”

“Some of the products were slightly out of date and some still had a couple of months to go, but everything tasted fine. And i got free delivery via their promotion. Why would you pay full price when Approved Food saves you so.much money?”

“Mostly very good all round! You have to check items and prices, as some are more expensive than supermarkets and also have a short or expired date. Some good bargains to be had, especially in the bulk buying items. Packaging has improved significantly over time, but communications are an area they need to resolve.”

“Awful experience, no updates for a week, then cancelled my order initially blaming DPD, then back peddling saying it was not DPD and just a shipment issue, happy to take my money and charge extra for delivery though! Refunded after 10 wasted days, my advice, avoid, avoid, avoid”
