“Always good communication and good delivery”

“Great site, great concept, great items. We have had 2 deliveries upto now and a third on its way. They are value for money. The deliveries however concern us, both have been left on the front doorstep in full view and we live on a mian road, its only time that one or more will go missing. the first delivery the box was damaged and items inside (water) split and damaged, the box was delivered soaking wet and left on the frnt door split open. This can happen and not a big deal, it wont stop us buying from Approved foods. I have told many friends and family about the site, who are now also ordering.”

“Company and products good. Courier company terrible. I got at least 9 texts saying my order was coming that day, and it didn’t. My order was on the van for over 2 weeks as the courier could not find my address. The COURIER. He had ONE JOB. Its not the first time. Please act on customer feedback.”

“Approved Food can be a fun way of buying reduced foodstuff that's close to its use-by date. But watch out for items that have expired longer than a month or so ago. You will notice an impairment to the flavour. This year, they have not been doing so well on fulfilling a whole order. It can be irritating when the order arrives and several things are missing.”

“First few orders thought were "OK", but now cancelled my account, can buy some items in local shops at a cheaper price and still within the "best before date", and multi-packs in shops dont get split down to sell individually.”

“Some real bargains to be had with Approved Food however I think the descriptions could be improved ( although there is an email question system but you have to wait for the answer so the item could be sold). There is also a need to update the website- it needs a back button on the pages to avoid having to repeat pages. However the process of checking out/ delivery is efficient and they are prompt to inform if items are out of stock or when credits are lodged against your account”

“First time I have used this company. The prices for short dated food on some items were 70% off. I ordered the minimum reqd £25 approx. One item was missing. it happens I guess, with everyone, however customer service from Bekah was the very next day after I sent an email, comprehensively helpful and naturally offered me a credit, so I say excellent customer service, pretty good delivery, fabulous prices. A First Class Socially conscious company reducing food waste and helping the poor to get fed, whats not to like ?, but to wish them every success into their future.”
