“I love shopping at Approved Food and actually have to stop myself from buying plenty of delicious snacks. I really like the variety of products and love the surprises inside all the different lucky boxes - it always feels like unwrapping a gift to myself!”

“I had my first order for quite a few years, as son off work sick, money tight and the cupboards are bare. Lots of bargains, including a expensive face cream for £5 instead of £20, and Feliway at £6.99. It all arrived well packaged, everything there, just one jar of curry paste *smashed* but didn't spoil anything., and not an issue to complain about (33p). Only issue was delivery company, they couldn't find us, and didn't phone us.. etc 2nd day he managed to phone, although I had originally put extra details re access to flat door on side road., looks like he didn't read, and informed me I had the wrong address on my order *cough* YUP ! Approved Food Brilliant !”

“I have no major problem with Approved foods, i have saved pounds on foods that are close to or past their best before, & are still absolutly fine for ages after, but the delivery agents are horendous, i have yet to have 1 single delivery to be perfect, i have had damaged boxes, repacked boxes, 1 box out of 2 one day & another 3 days later, & even 1 go missing completely then some of it turn up 2 moths later, am i just the unlucky 1 here, or are the self employed delivery drivers under to much burden to earn to little money the big delivery companys leave them after their massive commisions, having been in the logistics bussiness running my own for over 35 yrs, i think i know what i am talking about.”

“We have had lots of great orders. Excellent value for money. The only criticism We would make is that a few of our orders have been damaged including broken glass. Perhaps a different courier would be good.”

“Latest order arrived and the coffee pods at £1.99, were a bargain, as was the hot sauce at 10p. The packaging of my order was very good, plenty of bubble wrap, no breakages and arrived quickly.”

“Approved food is an excellent place to pick up bargains for those on a budget,they have an ever changing selection of food,soft drinks,alcohol and household items.The " Mystery " boxes are great because you never know what you are going to get.The only small gripe i have is the postage which can eat into some of the savings you have made,but all in all, it is a great company.”

“Website layout is pretty poor. If they made it easier to filter and find products in range of pricing, reviews, best match that would be so much easier. I hate having to search through page after page and not finding what I want. Also the delivery is far too pricey. I do appreciate that it's a small business but we need more offers on delivery. I would order alot more often if the delivery was cheaper.”
