Although good prices a lot of the crisps and drinks were out of date and i understand that’s the whole Point of this website but some of them were 3 years best before date. The drinks were flat had no fizz and the milkshake was off.

1st couple of boxes were reasonably good. Some things were over 2 years out of date and tasted like it! Quite a bit got thrown away. Last lucky dip box was really disappointing. A few packets of crisps, a couple of protein bars and some weird canned drink. Put me off from buying again really.

Some products were okay. Advent coffee calendar was damaged with coffee spilling out of the capsules. None item was out of stock so I won’t be bothering again.

Mostly ok, let down by some proper stinkers (literally), some of it was borderline acceptable but the popcorn was 18 months past it's BB date, it was grim - smelt awful and tasted awful, you shouldn't be selling this - there are limits as to what is acceptable, and this was way beyond it. Do you ever sample any of the products you sell? I like the concept and very happy to buy stuff past BB date for a decent discount, but it's a shame I can't trust all of it to still be suitable for consumption! It's very unlikely that I'll be ordering from Approved Food again.

Great site but the delivery is awful. So far 5 days every day I am sent a slot for delivery but it is never delivered.

Order arrived very quickly after placing the order. Unfortunately, at least half the order was missing with no explanation ad to why. Very disappointed as Approved Food have never let me down before

Not very happy with this order I bought an item that was short dated and It is no where near edible.It is liquorice and it is so hard you can't enjoy eating it It was £7 and I consider that to be £7 wasted.Not a happy shopper this time!!!!!!I have contacted a couple of times and not heard anything.

soft drinks are good value but don't buy, crisps,snack bars or nuts they are usually soft and packets of crisps crushed and open. This company use to be much better value maybe they have now got too big?

Some of the sweets had to go in the bin taste awful thought I had good bargains but not really compared to what had to be thrown away the out of date chocolate also had a strange taste some of which got thrown away so I won't be ordering again

I love the products on offer but unfortunately I have had two separate orders cancelled. The first was a problem with the courier DX who apparently lost the packages. Then just last week DPD apparently damaged my order and it was unable to be delivered. That's two out of five orders, not delivered and I lost out on the nice products contained in them which of course are now no longer available. So I am therefore wondering whether to order again in the future.

Website and products are great but I’m afraid the courier they use, DX is appealing. Ordered last week, was meant to be delivered but couldn’t get me in (I was home), then allegedly delivered to me the next day (I was home again) and didn’t get my order. Proof of delivery was someone else’s door!

Items were fine and great value. Unfortunately I nearly injured myself carrying the box up to my 3rd floor flat because (unlike previous deliveries) the courier had left it on the ground floor of the building where things are often stolen. My delivery instruction was beautifully printed on your invoice but … it was ignored by the courier !!

I have avoided using Approved foods for a while because I had issues with delivery/damaged items on several occasions, but I love the idea of less food waste so decided to take the plunge again. Sadly I had nothing but exactly the same problems again. My delivery was scheduled for 14th October it failed to arrive, also didn't arrive the next day so emailed customer service. They said if it didn't arrive again that they would contact DX the courier firm. The 16th was a Sunday so I didn't expect a delivery that day and to be fair nothing new was showing on the tracking information. Monday showed delivery that day, but nothing arrived. Emailed again, no reply. Tuesday it showed on tracking again with the tracking for delivery by 7.01pm. 7.00pm came and went and being disabled I tend to go upstairs to bed early. My daughter arrived home at about 10.30pm that evening to find a large box abandoned outside our front door! I checked the tracking information again and it showed delivery at 6.38pm which is a total lie because I was downstairs and had the lights on. No one knocked my door and I was clearly in, I also would have seen the delivery because I had my blinds open waiting. When I opened the delivery to check it there was no delivery note and one of the items was smashed so shards of glass and cheese sauce was over everything. Obviously I contacted Approved foods to complain (which I hate doing) but the blase attitude of the email correspondence saddens me. They are totally missing my points and must be losing money and customers because I'm sure that I'm not the only person losing faith. Shame, a great concept spoilt by poor customer service and delivery.

In the past service has been good. This time not. I placed an order but didn't get a confirmation. I emailed and got the answer it was a computer problem. I cancelled the order because it would not then arrive in time. Then I had an email from the carrier to say it would arrive on 8th September by 15.15 hours. I delayed my departure till then but it didn't arrive. Later it arrived, by then too late, I had left. I emailed to ask what to do about it. I have had no reply. So now the parcel is sitting in my sisters house getting in the way!

I understand the concept of a "mystery box" but when that box is half full on 2-year-old soup crackers, 'Multipack can not to be sold separately' cans of pop and singular chocolates that have been open, its not the best look! but the rest not too bad

My first order was not good, a £5 bag of Panko was split so didn’t know if still ok or for how long and a box of crocs just out of date tasted stale. Other things were fine but 2 losses cost the savings.

Company and products good. Courier company terrible. I got at least 9 texts saying my order was coming that day, and it didn’t. My order was on the van for over 2 weeks as the courier could not find my address. The COURIER. He had ONE JOB. Its not the first time. Please act on customer feedback.

Was disappointed with some of the products as the description was mot clear enough. I thought I bought normal size cans of diet coke and they were mini sized. Not a bargain at all. Same with the 'case,' of Caramel peanuts...5 little bags in a box. The mascaras were goid value but wouldn't bother with food again.
