“Approved Foods provide great offers of products which are sometimes past their best before dates, not always, but which are still perfectly good to use and are sold at hugely discounted prices.I have been placing orders with Approved Foods for many months and am always delighted with my order. Delivery is within a couple of days always on time, and by a very pleasant delivery man.”

“Excellent experience all round. Delivery driver was very helpful, he split up the big box into manageable loads for me to carry. One or two items past their date weren't brilliant but the month old chocolate was perfect and there are a lot of in date products which are also perfect. Delivery took a week from when I placed the order. Very happy with prices, overall quality and delivery.”

“The prices these guys offer are unbeatable. I mainly order food for my dog and it always has a good shelf life. At a time when food prices are soaring, these savings are very welcome. But they're great too for many other products, especially confectionery. Even if these products are past their best before date, they're perfectly ok and are especially good for baking. Everything is packaged well, delivered fast and at a reasonable cost. All in all, a GREAT service.”

“One product wasn't available and Approved Food sneakily wanted to give me a credit rather than a refund on my card. I insisted on a refund and they kindly obliged. A box of a dozen large packets of crisps/snacks wasn't the flavour I ordered. Clearly, they substituted. Unfortunately, I am not keen on that flavour. Aside from that, the sell-by dates were more recent than I expected. Delivery was fast and everything was very well packaged and arrived perfectly even though lots of fragile items packed with glass bottles and cans. Really good quality and savings. Bargains to be had but you must watch the weight and volumes closely. The photos can often be misleading and products aren't always documented properly/sufficiently. Overall a great service. Thanks.”

“I managed to get several bargains and took to the opportunity to buy a pet food brand normally out of my price range, overall I think I got a good deal and if I saved food from being wasted then it was worth it. Personally I'm not bothered if chocolate is near its sell by date because it doesn't last long on pace it's in our house. I consider myself savvy with prices and I consider shopping with Approved food,although with limited choice, to be a good option.”
