“Was very pleased with food items purchased. The mystery box was exceptional value for money for just £1-can't believe how many items were in it! Also dogs liked the venison chews which were a very good price for this brand thank you.”

“Great way to reduce food waste and save money. Sometimes I can try new products which are normally out of my budget. Packed well, good communication throughout. Any issues are dealt with in a timely manner. Have used this company for a few years now and happy to recommend. I have saved a fortune.”

“Always changing selection and with a great purpose of saving food. Frustrating that the shop doesn't real-time updating, meaning the 'wow 1p' deals do sometimes end up being refunded, so don't do a shop just for them.”

“Hit and miss - unfortunately the customer service is rubbish when it’s a miss. Company doesn’t call back, keep promises, follow up or make amends. When everything goes to plan it’s great. I’ve had 2 straightforward orders and one that was a total fiasco. So - order at your own risk and keep your fingers crossed!”

“Pleased with the goods I received although I bought some items that I will not be able to use since I misunderstood the descriptions. However I can put them in Food collection boxes so they will not go to waste.”

“I'm happy with all my purchases. I've always liked the fact that AF sells healthy options, and the unusual things that aren't in the mainstream, like beetroot crackers, all sorts of crispbreads and snacks, as well as very mainstream brands like Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola. Whatever part of someone's larder or fridge they want to use, Approved Food has something - soups, stews, sweets, biscuits, drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), anything that may be discontinued or near to the sell-by date, but never out of date. Sometimes I wish I didn't have to order a huge, bulk order (postage is free if you spend more than a certain amount), but I now order what I want and no more, so the postage I pay isn't a lot, and the cost of the whole parcel is less than you'd pay in the shops.
