“Not very happy with this order I bought an item that was short dated and It is no where near edible.It is liquorice and it is so hard you can't enjoy eating it It was £7 and I consider that to be £7 wasted.Not a happy shopper this time!!!!!!I have contacted a couple of times and not heard anything.”

“these are excellent way to get top brands and items that might just be out of your budget, word of caution always check the expiry dates on items as some may be over the dates given but usually not a problem as either tined products or products that usually have long shelf life”

“Havent recieved order atall yet !! No notification atall for delivery and still havent recieved any kind of delivery atall !! Teied tracking delivery with just same as always been dispatched and out for delivery ....no dates no reply from email address either!!! Wow customer help is poor i feel totally ....i ordered like 3 yrs ago and gave up due to this issue a friend said it was better now so i obvs ordered and tried it again ....but is rediculous tbh i feel ...ppl that order from here is obvs in need and paying money out over a week ago now and no communication atall is frustrating and detrimental to us i do know and most likely most homes too !!”

“I have been buying from Approved Food for a number of years and have generally been impressed by the service and the quality of the products. I fully support to principle of avoiding food waste, so I like the ethos of the company. Recently I have received a few products that have been a little past their best, so I would urge that quality control is stepped up. The products to be careful about are snacks eg crisps.”

“I love the variety of items available and some bargains to be had. I do a couple of boxes every few months for my son and fiancé and for my nephew and family (they have three small boys who love opening the box!) l have to say the categories aren’t right on some sections you press, and prices are more than they were but that’s the fun of finding the good value items.”
