“First time using the store. The order got stuck after placement, which required customer support intervention, but all went well after that. One item arrived damaged (the coffee beans bag was ripped and some beans were in the box). But overall impressed with the packaging and anything fragile was bubble-wrapped.”

“A way of buying food cheaply that is near it’s end of shelf life/just past it’s end of shelf life. Easy to use site with lots to buy. Quick delivery and we’ll packaged. They also do mystery box for a £1, which is full of useful items.”

“Firstly I'm all in when it comes to saving money and this looked really good so onwards I looked at all of there goodies and thought this looks good what a great idea so I purchased in total £41 of my hard earned cash the night before i usually go for our weekly shopping thinking well I won't have to by this or that so a double saving YES the foods out of date but tins and packet stuff last along time and there were huge saving so I thought, NOW HERE COMES THE DISSAPOINTMENT AND Anger so I place my order wait 5 days nothing I email them to ask what the hold up is as they were very quick to take my money on there web site my order is waiting its like this for 5 days I complain and within an hour it's out for delivery I think they forgot about my order (I FEEL LIKE A JUDGE ORDER ORDER I NO NOT FUNNY) then it arrives 8 days after my order the delivery drivers is clever he puts it in my porch upside down not showing the soden cardboard leaking all over my floor SMASHED ITENS SHARDS OF GLASS EVERYWHERE THERE ARE THREE LITTLE BOXES WITHIN A BIG BOX so you think we will put the glass stuff in the middle give it some extra protection NO two hard for the packers (the protection for the glass products was next to nothing anyway) they put it on top hence I had chilli sauce and vindaloo sauce smashed dripping on all of the other products mixed in with broken glass I have picture if the company need proof most of the stuff was ruined and let's be fair here it's out of date food that I've paid £41 for and on top of all that they can't even get the order right missing items , no tea bags no chocolate 7 packets of crisps NO 10 PACK BUNDLE no chocolate so my family has ended up with very little of what we ordered all in all a total shambles ( I'd like to say stronger words but it wouldn't get published but u get the idea don't you) AVOID LIKE THE PLAG COVID do not buy anything from theese people wheeler dealers I should have known a total waste of my time and hard earned cash from a very annoyed southerner maybe that's why”

“Approved Food offers a large range of products which are mostly in edible condition. The lucky dips are very welcome surprises. I had a nasty surprise when I ordered a huge pack of shortbread which had gone off. Their smell and taste was awful and very disappointing and the pack had to put in the dustbin.”

“I was introduced to AF by a customer of mine. I buy my dog food monthly from you as it is so cheap and delivered . I’ve had a woman’s beauty lucky box which I shared with my neighbour. Sometimes I find the minimum spend a bit high”

“Usually very good. However, for my most recent order, I couldn’t follow it online as seemed to disappear into a black hole. The order did arrive eventually, but was poorly packaged with no dispatch note. Therefore, no way of checking if my order was filled correctly. Hope this isn’t an ongoing situation”

“I am happy with my purchases from Approved Foods , very helpful with the cost of living going up . However , I wish I could say the same regarding the delivery . On several occasions we have had problems & this latest order has been no different with the courier company claiming not to be able to find our address although we are on a main road in full view. This order has taken 9 days & still counting .”
