“The short version is that 'Appeal a Parking Ticket' was extremely polite, responsive and helpful and excellent value for money - their help meant that I didn't have to go to court or pay a penny to the parking firm that had hounded me for nearly 4 years. I will recommend them to anyone else in a similar situation, I just wish I had contacted them sooner! The longer version is: I had an unfair parking ticket issued and unwisely ignored the initial correspondence from Armtrac Security / KBT Cornwall Ltd and missed the appeal window, they wouldn't accept my appeals or that they were in the wrong after that period and appealing to the IPC was also fruitless. The correspondence escalated and they passed the case over to BW Legal. I (again, unwisely) ignored the continued correspondence from BW Legal and threats of a court case until I received notice that they had filed a claim with the court. At this point, I panicked and considered folding and paying the ticket (at this point nearly £300). I shopped around to various local solicitors who all either advised fighting the ticket would not be cost-effective, suggested I contact Citizen's advice instead or that they would write an initial letter costing £500 + vat and if it progressed to a hearing it would cost between £3k - £5k. None of this was very helpful... Then I found 'Appeal A Parking Ticket' and was convinced it was legit but the many reviews. I got in touch and the team were friendly and helpful. They talked me through the process and assessed how willing I was to negotiate, settle or fight the ticket. They reassured me that if it went to court I probably wouldn't have to go in person and it would be over the phone, which was a relief, but also that they try and prevent it from getting to that point by having it thrown out before then. At a couple of points, I got cold feet and without their support and explanations of the process by phone and email I would have caved and handed over money for the fine + court fees BUT thanks to the team at Appeal A Parking Ticket I held my ground and a few weeks before the case was due to come up I got a letter from BW Legal saying they were dropping the case. All I paid was £49 to Appeal A Parking Ticket - which probably would have been less if I contacted them sooner, but I was very willing to pay to stick it to the parking firm. I didn't have to cough up and pay anything to BW Legal or Armtrac Security / KBT Cornwall Ltd or any court fees. I, somewhat grandly, consider myself as having done my civil duty and it is a proud achievement to have wasted some of the parking company's time and resources in them chasing me and them having to eventually drop the case. I feel these companies' business model operates on scare tactics to bully people into paying inflated and unfair fines. It wasn't fun, being pursued for nearly 4 years, but I did it on principle for the people who felt bullied and forced into paying up and I feel pride for not giving up and gratitude towards the team at Appeal A Parking Ticket for their help. I am glad that, with the support of Kevin, Rebecca & Daisy from Appeal A Parking Ticket I didn't back down and these firms will have wasted time and effort in chasing me - time they can't get back and couldn't spend chasing and upsetting someone with less available mental and emotional bandwidth to spend fighting it.”

“After I had a private parking company try it on by issuing a ticket for an alleged 12 minutes overstay, even although we had left for an adjacent car park. Following an Internet search came across Parking Appeals and appointed them with their premium service to get the ticket cancelled, I'd much rather support a business providing an excellent service such as Parking Appeals than put money in the hands of the private parking companies who basically deal in threats and intimidation. Parking Appeals got the ticket cancelled with their first letter. Excellent service and could not recommend them enough.”
