“Very efficient & had complete confidence in the service. Our designated currency advisor kept us up to date with the exchange rates & was always at the end of the phone for advice. Excellent service & would have no hesitation in recommending or using A Place in the Sun currency transfer again.”

“People say about going the extra mile for your customer, Matthew Boyle did that today form me. I am currently purchasing a property in Spain and whilst I have moved money before for living expenses I now needed to send far more for the purchase. I was struggling with the Spanish process and their requirements, Matt was very receptive to my issues and talked me through the process, even speaking to my solicitor in Spain. For these reasons I cannot give a higher recommendation to A Place in the Sun and in particular Matt Boyle. Thank you Matt”

“Excellent service from Kian who dealt with all our currency to buy our new home in Spain. He kept in regular contact, went above & beyond, well mannered & polite, excellent service throughout. Also big thank you to Lorri, who put us in touch with the estate agents in Spain & put us in touch with Kian. If it wasn’t for them, we would still be pondering on whether we should do this. “Buying a property abroad is a very daunting experience particularly when it involve transferring large sums of money to a third party. A very nervous time but Matthew (Matt) from Aplaceinthesuncurrency made it a seamless process and kept me informed throughout. Always available to help and respond quickly to messages either by phone or email. Our funds went through as planned and on time and credit to Matt in making this happen. “I have recently used the services of a Place in the Sun Currency and am writing to say how impressed I was by their professionalism and reliability. In my case this was essentially due to the support I received from James (Tucker), my account manager. Well-informed, courteous and a patient listener, he was a source of sound advice on likely exchange rate movements. He also ensured that timing between currency transfer and receipt was executed rapidly and squarely within the time limits he promised. Thank you, James, for your friendly professionalism. “First time using a PITS Currency and I would definitely use them again. The service is very professional, simple and reassuring for those who have not transferred money to a foreign country before. My main contact was Simon Eastman who was very efficient and gave the required in depth information that I needed to feel at ease. The process was simple and not forgetting the very good rates that were offered. I would suggest getting quotes from other leading currency operators but I have to say PITS rates were hard to be beaten for the last few transfers I had to make. I would most certainly recommend this service to other family members and friends.”
