“We went through the Purchasing of a Property in Spain and then the Sale process and each time we recieved expert guidance from A Place in the Sun Currency Team. Special thanks to Lauren, Nick and Kian for their support and advice. We met the Team at A Place in Sun Exhibition which we would recommend to anyone thinking of Buying Abroad. We also met a great Team of Lawyers too.”

“As an Octogenarians we were concerned about moving money electronically and the security procedures. We were guided all the way through the process and reassured by Ashley and our Rep’ in Spain. A good exchange rate was sought and the balance promptly paid into our bank account. Thank you and no doubt we will deal again.”

“People say about going the extra mile for your customer, Matthew Boyle did that today form me. I am currently purchasing a property in Spain and whilst I have moved money before for living expenses I now needed to send far more for the purchase. I was struggling with the Spanish process and their requirements, Matt was very receptive to my issues and talked me through the process, even speaking to my solicitor in Spain. For these reasons I cannot give a higher recommendation to A Place in the Sun and in particular Matt Boyle. Thank you Matt”

“Excellent service from Kian who dealt with all our currency to buy our new home in Spain. He kept in regular contact, went above & beyond, well mannered & polite, excellent service throughout. Also big thank you to Lorri, who put us in touch with the estate agents in Spain & put us in touch with Kian. If it wasn’t for them, we would still be pondering on whether we should do this. “Buying a property abroad is a very daunting experience particularly when it involve transferring large sums of money to a third party. A very nervous time but Matthew (Matt) from Aplaceinthesuncurrency made it a seamless process and kept me informed throughout. In my case this was essentially due to the support I received from James (Tucker), my account manager. Well-informed, courteous and a patient listener, he was a source of sound advice on likely exchange rate movements.
