“A stain on the Barbour jacket. Taxes and duties are not clearly explained for EU shipping. I had to pay twice VAT”

Which is why it is stipulated at our checkout and on our delivery page. https://www.aphrodite1994.com/delivery We offer Tax-Free shopping for International customers, this is automatically deducted at the checkout. Customers are required to pay customs charges/Import duties which are calculated by the courier once the parcel reaches its destination country. We have no control over these charges, and cannot advise what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel before delivery can take place. The charges for customers are not from Aphrodite I'm afraid you would have to contact customs regarding this payment. I can see through the email thread from customer service that you wish to keep the jacket instead of returning it. Thank you once again for your time and understanding. “Until now my order has not arrived and I checked my ordered via fedex, jacket is still in the Netherlands, very disappointing, I have notified aphrodite but there is no response.”

“Brilliant service and quick delivery. Great price in the Barbour Beacon Black jacket. The only disappointing aspect is with the manufacture Barbour. I have this jacket in olive from 2018 and that item is a far better product. Better quality with higher quality insulation material, additional zipped pocket on front and small pocket on sleeve. The feel of my olive beacon jacket is just much higher quality. But, £209 for the new black version on sale is a decent deal. I’m just saddened why Barbour made the product in black lesser in quality.”
