Absolutely terrible courier service. Unprofessional and dishonest. I have unfortunately dealt with this company twice and can say that they are at least consistently poor! Today, the lazy driver claims he “attempted” delivery. This was supposedly supported by a photograph of the main entrance into my building. One is required to actually use the intercom, the door doesn’t magically open by itself and invite you in. It’s called security! The driver also claims that he called me which he did not! My conversation with the customer service rep was even more enlightening as she went to great lengths stating the following: “I know this driver personally and he is one of the strongest drivers we have”. “I know this driver personally and he is one of the hardest working drivers we have”. She further went on to explain how the weight and size of my parcel would have taken up a lot of space in this drivers van that could’ve accommodated smaller parcels. So sis he attempt to deliver it or not? This only confirms the driver had no intention of attempting to deliver it. Was it even on the drivers van? If you are so adamant he attempted to deliver it because you know him personally why the diatribe about the weight, size taking up room in his van. A lot of over explaining here, a little suspect! Nevertheless they have apparently rescheduled delivery for tomorrow! I have raised a complaint directly with the furniture company and will not hesitate to cancel my order and request a refund if the item is not delivered tomorrow. I am so looking forward to coming back here tomorrow to leave another review! My first experience in September with APC where my employer had booked their services for return of my IT kit which consisted of two laptops, one monitor, keyboard and cables. The unprofessional disgruntled driver complained on arrival because there were 3 boxes and complained that he only had one label (even though I had printed off the label 3 times and fixed them to each parcel?). Luckily I had taken pictures of each of the labelled boxes and sent to my employer detailing which items were in which box. The following day I received a call from my employer after they had only received one item (the monitor) - both laptops and cables had not been delivered to them when I chased this up a week later they still had not received the laptops! So as stated APC are consistently poor, unreliable and unprofessional and this review site only confirms this further. My advice APC - Do not offer your services to furniture companies and organisations with parcels of a particular weight and size that your incompetent drivers are not prepared to deliver this just makes you look bad amongst your competitors - your reviews and reputation speaks volumes. Over promising and under delivering at this level is astonishing. Jemima does nothing but apologise here, where’s the solution? Is Jemima ok? I’m genuinely concerned for her, is she being supported by her management - can’t be easy spending the majority of her time writing apologies to these reviews. I look forward to returning here tomorrow with another review on this rescheduled delivery. I hope another company is is not processing yet another refund for an undelivered item.. Happy New Year..

Never left a card , no options to choose from if on route and no one home . Had to organise before parcel left depot but no prior notice so how that works ?? Dismal service , waiting for Christmas lights for outdoors still waiting … no lights this year

Delivery kept being delayed until "tomorrow" for 4 days straight and then the parcel was returned to the sender by the warehouse by mistake. I contacted the company that I bought the item from and they said APC couldn't give any reason as to why the parcel was sent back to them, they were as confused as I was. The company is now paying to send it to me by Royal Mail tracked. Won't be buying anything from anyone who uses APC, terrible customer service.

Due a delivery of a piece of 48h rental equipment, 'attempted delivery' email at the end of the day yet I was home all day to wait for my parcel and no card through the door. Useless helpdesk and now have paid for something I never received.

The driver never even attempted delivery when I was home all day, they didn't ring the doorbell or leave a card. On the photo they uploaded it clearly shows they took it from the van as they drove by without pulling over. I called customer support and was told they would contact the driver and get them to come back which never happened. I booked redelivery for the next day and once again there was no attempt at delivery only this time there was no way for me to even track it. Really poor experience all around and still haven't received my delivery.

My parcel was due yesterday 21st December. Response to email said it was due today by 17.30 22nd December. Consignment 0038019 Tracking switched off. Still no parcel. These were 2 cakes for a birthday party tonight. No updates. Nobody answers phone. So annoyed

Absolutely rubbish. I paid extra. No tracking. Nobody answered the phone at all. Dreadful. ☹️👎☹️ When the driver arrived and l told him about it. His attitude was, so what, shrugged his shoulders, and said: "It's Christmas!", and walked off. 😤🥱😠

Appalling. Any company using these to deliver needs to think twice. A large rug was to be delivered yesterday. They gave an estimated time slot up to 16.55 and failed to turn up or even have the decency to send another text to update us. We were unable to track our missing rug and the text sent was a no reply text. My Husband went last night to the shop where we had purchased our rug and demanded our money back. So APC, you have caused a company to have a loss of sale. Time to get your act together.

My parcel was meant to be delivered today I emailed customer services they said won’t be delivered until tomorrow as your over whelmed with freight from Royal Mail surely your over night deliveries should be priority! There was meat in my parcel that had to be put in the fridge by the end of the day hence why it was sent on an over night delivery. Terrible delivery service I would not recommend

These were batteries for a sheep scanning machine so because of there lies and incompetence they missed there transport so cost me a lot money which I can not afford in these current times I would carefully consider buying anything if they were the courier and I’m looking forward to seeing there reply.

All you do is apologise on this page but you never tell anyone what you are going to do to solve their problems. I was told my parcel was going to be delivered today by 13.08. I am still waiting and you have not emailed or contacted me to let me know what has happened to my parcel. I relied on the parcel to be delivered today but reading all the other complaints, I wonder if I will ever see my parcel. Appalling Customer Service!!

APC definitely didn't attempt delivery as I was sat within sight of my front door the entire morning including the time they claim to have attempted delivery. They 100% didn't ring my door bell or even come to my door. I've tried to reschedule the delivery but when I do it says "the delivery has already been rescheduled'. No idea what this means. I then try ringing the suggested number and it cuts off instantly each time I ring it. I know delivery firms are rushed off their feet at this time of year but this is all far from impressive.

"Next day delivery" package was meant to be delivered on Wednesday, was showing as "out for delivery" until Friday. Called up the depot on Friday after getting no reply to an email sent on Thursday, can't fault the customer service as the man was very helpful. Was told it'd be rescheduled for Saturday (today). Nothing has turned up, yet still "out for delivery" on the tracker. Not going to turn up tomorrow so that'll be next week if at all. Ridiculous. Never had this amount of trouble even with Hermes.

One of the worst delivery services i have come across try to call them 5 times they dont answer then when they do they say it will be delivered tommorow then the same for 3 days!

I ordered Pet food from a very reliable company with instructions of where to leave the parcel if I am out. This has worked for all previous deliveries. Having received an email to say they hadn't been able to deliver I would need to arrange a redelivery. So I phoned and rearranged for the next day and asked for an email confirmation. They sent an email through so I thought it was going to be delivered today. I sat in all day until 3pm and then tried to track the parcel; only there was no tracking information available beyond yesterday's failure. After spending nearly an hour on the phone ( at one point I was put through to their Bath delivery hub - ironically the only polite professional person I was able to speak to) I finally got through to the Maidstone Hub. Explaining the above she said it's not out for delivery today as "the driver decided not to put it on the van today". I explained I had an email which I took as confirming delivery today. Having checked their email it says " you have requested a delivery ". Obviously now in hindsight the email is misleading. But beyond the point that they have not bothered to contact me with an alternative day was the appalling attitude of the woman I was speaking to in Maidstone. I asked who the sender was as I thought it may be better to cancel the order. The woman gave me the information and when I said I was going to tell them what a rubbish service it was she put the phone down on me. The only word I used was rubbish - no bad language which if they did record the call they will know.Clearly they don't though even though they say they may because all I could hear in the background was other women taking and laughing all the while I was on the phone - no wonder it took such a long time to get to speak to someone . When I explained that I had waited in all day and when I asked why I hadn't been informed of an alternative date she said nothing ; no apology. So while the delivery service Cleary employ drivers who are not able to read delivery instructions it would seem a prerequisite for people they employ in customer service is rudeness and unhelpfulness. Terrible business to deal with.
