Dreadful service for key workers. Deliveries 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Absolutely no facility for pick up for people for whom it is impossible to be at home at those times.

Ordered a package from Cornwall for a birthday treat that contained a Cream Tea. Agreed with the supplier for a Friday delivery 05/06. Ordered on Weds 03/06. No delivery on the 04/06 Contacted the Newhaven depot on Friday 05/06 to get an update on delivery of the item. Explained that the parcels contents where perishable and was it going to be delivered today. They said they hadn’t received the item, we said you must have had it and he would check again, the phone went dead. We rang again and a different person said yes the item is in the van and it will be delivered today, we asked him to give us a rough delivery time, he then said I will check the route, after a while he said no the item is in the depot. He said don’t worry we have refrigerators we can store it (really a big box in a fridge) and he promised it would be delivered Saturday. We rang Saturday explained our predicament and he confirmed the item was on the van and would delivered between 12 and 1pm. The item was not delivered. Item turned up Monday and contents ruined and binned. To add to the incompetence of the Newhaven staff the APC tracking system said a attempted delivery was made on the 04th, unfortunately this was not factual as the householders where not only in but working on their garden by the front-door. We will not purchase any item that involves APC as the carriers. You can tell by APC responses on this web site that this standard of service is normal and completing their tracking system falsely is common practice. Total joke.

Never use. Have received someone else's package and mine has disappeared all togther. Also my address was stuck over the address that package was supposed to go to. Company not interested in sorting problem out, had to phone company that package was meant for luckily they were local and they came and picked it up from me. Does anyone from the other side know where my package is.

My third experience of APC - all bad. I won’t tell the ‘back story’ but why does anyone use APC? Oh alright then - 1 consignment from the South West was delivered ruined, the 1st replacement disappeared without trace, it was third time lucky but 17 days late! Second consignment arrived 20, yes 20, days late. My consignment was dispatched only 30 miles from here on 26th May - it disappeared without trace! The replacement was dispatched on 2nd June - it arrived today 7th!! I will now no longer order from firms using APC - simple as that. I don’t want the stress and I have no wish to support such inefficiency and poor service

Overnight parcel send 29th May 5th of June I was told it was out for delivery that day 6th June still not here (and now a weekend) Little tracking information. I wouldn't use them - everyone else does this better than this

They ask what went wrong? A better question would be What went right? Nothing, so far. In their latest non-attempt to deliver to me, APC have so far:- on Day 1. not delivered as expected, before 5pm, although people were available to take in the order all day. on Day 2 a "missed you" card was discovered in the door at 7.30 am. This must have been put through the door sometime overnight as it was not there on day 1 after 9pm. I attempted telephoning the company numerous times on day 2, but the 'phone was unanswered, or, at best occasionally engaged. I therefore contacted the supplier of my valuable goods, who did manage to get hold of APC and confirmed that my package would be delivered by 5pm on day 3. On Day 3 the package was not delivered. However in the evening a note appeared on my internet record with APC that a "missed you card" had been put through my door at 16.25pm on day 2, obviously referring to a fictional delivery attempt on day 2. There was NO (second) card, NOR delivery attempt on day 2. The only card I received was at 7.30 am on day 2, some 8 hours before the alleged day 2 delivery attempt. Possibly, this referred to a probably fictional attempt to deliver on day 1. Again when the package did not appear on day 3, I attempted telephoning the company but to no avail. Day 4, 08.30, I checked my order on the APC website again. To my surprise they claimed that they had attempted to deliver again - although they had not, and there was no further missed you card to indicate this. However, this time there was an opportunity to book a slot. However this will not be available until day 6. I've booked it, but don't suppose I shall have any better luck. Every other delivery company has managed to find my house and people in, not least because, being vulnerable, we have been in since 19th March. Indeed we have had 5 deliveries from others while struggling over the past 4 days with APC. I do hope the long established and reputable supplier I am awaiting this order from will reconsider whether to use APC. With considerable regret I shall not order from them again if they do not change.

People leaving negative reviews in a pandemic because there is delays I bet your one of them who wears a face mask in their car apc are the only ones who have been on time for me.

Same story as many others have said. my parcel was due for overnight delivery and the tracking simply stopped at the parcel before mine and then the tracking stopped working. No answer on the phones, and still no parcel the following day with no email from APC to explain where my parcel is. Awful service

Waiting 13 days for next day delivery, ever time I phone I get told I will be out for delivery in the morning, but no delivery, phone again told tomorrow, this has been going on for 13 days. Absolute joke if a company, do not use

3 times now, since lockdown, during which I have not left my house, I have had trouble with APC delivery, in relation to perishable/fragile goods from 2 highly reputable companies. On each occasion I have asked the companies to sort this out as the APC telephone line and website have been totally non-responsive. The latest occasion was yesterday, goods expected by 5pm, nothing by 9pm and then, this morning, I discovered a "you were out" card (totally untrue) through my door which was not there last evening. I can only assume the card was left overnight between 9pm and 7.30am. No other delivery company over the past 3 months has failed to deliver goods as scheduled, including on the same days as APC supposedly attempted. As I write the latest supplier is trying to sort this out, as it is inappropriate for the good I ordered to be overlong in warehouse stores or be taken for repeated drives around the area. I would never recommend any supplier to use APC, it causes them and the buyers too much trouble.

Supposed to get a delivery yesterday between 2 & 4 pm,keeping an eye on the tracking app,the driver was 3 stops away then the info on the app disappeared along with my parcel. I have since called and emailed the company to no avail. Terrible service, avoid !!

Missed first delivery attempt on Wednesday although I was home and listened out for it with note on door saying please knock loudly,I am home.Phoned number on card straight away,only 3 minutes after missed delivery,and rearranged delivery for next day,Friday,waited all day nothing came.Waited all weekend too as I expected them to try again if they had ran out of time of Friday but nothing.Local office was only open for 3 hrs on Saturday and I couldn't get through.Phoned Monday morning and was told my boxes were on the van for delivery that day 12-2 so I waited and watched out of the window from indoors on a beautiful sunny day incase I missed it,nothing came so I phoned again and was told (by what was clearly the same man) that if someone had given me a delivery window they shouldn't have as they were extremely busy but my delivery would definitely come that day.Well I waited and watched until after 8pm.No delivery AGAIN!I decided that talking to a real person to rearrange delivery hadn't worked twice previously so I went online and rearranged again for 2 days time which was the earliest available date it gave me.Waited and watched all day again missing a beautiful sunny day and not being able to do work I had to do incase I missed the delivery and guess what,NO DELIVERY!Cant now arrange redelivery online because the screen just says delivery has already been arranged for this consignment number.Will have to phone again and speak to the local office when they open this morning but this is already the worst delivery company I have ever heard of and I have given up hope of ever receiving my boxes which by the way were overnight delivery because of the perishable items in them which will be sensitive to heat and they have now been jostled about in a hot van for over a week!!!

Bought something on ebay company used apc to deliver was told between 4.05pm to 5.05pm and its now 6pm not happy at all

On May 17th at 15:14, I receive an email confirming that a delivery will be made to me by APC Overnight. A tracking number is provided. Time sensitive parcel did not arrive the following day. Tracking not working and phones not being answered. Same thing Friday and tracking has not been updated since May 27th. I then notified the supplier who apologised and also tried to gain more information, with no success. Same thing on Monday. I then left a negative review on Trustpilot, which was responded to by Becky, who urged me to email her so she could look into the situation. I did and she still has not responded. The supplier also enquired and was assured that the parcel would arrive today but it has not (at 19:36 in the evening). I also find it interesting that the average score here is much lower and am wondering if the surge of 10 glowing reviews that suddenly pour in from time to time on Trustpilot (where reviews don’t need to be verified) are from real customers? I get the feeling that this company pays no heed to contracts (pinpoint tracking? Next day delivery?) and that it will say anything to make the people it has failed go away when it is not able to ignore them altogether. What is even worse than not getting something you really need is the frustration of waiting day after day and being promised something that isn’t actually coming by people so contemptuous of you that they regard your time as worthless. If I were a supplier I would use this company only if I hated my customers and wanted to ruin their day and my own reputation. If not, I’d choose one of several other companies that can handle the business (and there are lots to choose from).

This didn't even deserve one star. I ordered cheese from a company that dispatched it on the 19 th of May. My cheese was supposedly delivered on the 27 th of May!!! Had card left at my neighbours address,I did as APC card said to have my parcel re delivered next day Thursday 28th. It finally arrived 2.30 pm Saturday 30th May and boy oh boy did it stink( just like APC) The driver even said the smell filled his van!!! This company must surely know the firms that deal with them,if it is a cream tea from Cornwall or Cheese from Stanford this must surely give them a clue IT MUST BE NEXT DAY OVERNIGHT delivery as stated on their package!!!! Also we are shielded because of Corana and we were in at the first delivery,we are not allowed out so I really do not understand how this happened. The cheese is now in the bin.I will now always ask my supplier if they use your company,if they do I will now be explaining why I will not therefore be ordering their products!!! Oh and before you copy and paste one of those replies My number was 0001551 the date was 27/05/2020 when it was supposed to be here.

Really terrible service my parcel was supposed to be delivered 3 days ago I phone my local depo 8 time first guy I spoke to was really helpful but didn't know what was going on with the parcel he couldn't find it told me to contact main office. Contacted main office spoke to some guy who said leave it with me I will call the depos and sort it out for you and it will be delivered tomorrow morning he said give me your number and I will call you back lol guess what no call back so I called them back spoke to someone else told him what first guy said all response was well theirs no note on the system saying he's doing any of that then he put the phone down on me. I called back 2 hours later to be told they will try and find it and let me know lol still no call back. I phoned the main office this morning where the poor guy seemed to be rushed off his feet saying my delivery seems to be dismissed WHAT!!!??? And he will get someone to call me back for the 4th time this will not happen. WHERE IS MY PARCEL CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME A STRAITE ANSWER INSTEATED OF ALL THIS RUBBISH thank you

Packaged received on Wednesday 27th for next day delivery. Notification (sms) of delivery time slot for evening of Thursday 28th, but nothing arrived. Tracking on the 28th said out for delivery. Tracking updated on morning of Friday 29th, out for delivery again. Nothing received. After emailing customer services I received a copy and paste message about workload and covid-19. Note at bottom added that it looks like it had been scanned onto the van for delivery today, Friday 29th. Nothing has arrived. Since the last week of March all other deliveries to my home have been on time and with accurate tracking information. Every other courier company without fail has a perfect record. 100% understanding of the crisis and its impact. I don't understand how an item out for delivery 2 days in a row doesn't arrive? Did the driver just turnaround and go home both days before getting here? I've been in waiting the whole time. Any chance they could start their next route at my address? Of course not! Terrible, do not use, the other negative reviews indicate an accurate pattern of poor service.

Was promised next day delivery by Hughes electric who dispatched in a timely fashion..this bunch of clowns decided to leave my parcel at the sortation hub on a friday..so my next day delivery has now become a 4 day debacle...thought Hermes was bad, but these guys take the gold medal in incompetence.

My item was not delivered on the day as said. However, when I had emailed customer service and the local depot, I had prompt response and confirmed that delivery is arranged for next day. Item was delivered in good condition. I can recommend on my first experience with APC overnight, that it has been a good experience. Special thanks to Jack at cambridge depot and Lydia at customer service for checking delivery came through ok.

Poor delivery service. I pay for Next Business day delivery and they do not deliver as paid for. Two days later the tracking information shows the parcel still at the receiving depot. Customer services says it at the central depot, if so update your tracking site. Even Yodel, manage to deliver on time, all I get is lame Coronavirus excuses, you’ve had over ten weeks to sort your system to achieve on time delivery. In a phrase, “APC Overnight Set themselves a low achievement standard and have failed miserably to achieve it.”
