Ordered some fish from a well respected online company. Good communications saying will be delivered on the Thursday by APC now I knew this was going to be fun..... Waited in all day must of been one of the last deliveries was ment to be here between 8am - 4pm arrived 4:20pm driver must of took the fish all around his delivery and we all know what they drive like so needless to say my fish had a longer journey than needed. Could of easily dropped off earlier on the round.

I think you should read reviews. My parcel was despatched July 10. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday. It is still showing out on delivery, still no parcel. You should shoot the tortoise. You cannot phone... no incoming calls taken, 4 emails not responded to. What a shambles of a company. Stick to Hermes they DO NOT.LIE.

The driver put the wrong house number on delivery note, and not notified by e mail that delivery would be that day. I phoned local depot to be told that delivery was on route to me, driver went straight past and then I got an e mail that I wasn't in and a note was left. I immediately phoned depo and was told delivery would be next day, after complaining that the driver was only just up the road a delivery was finally carried out. NOT HAPPY.

APC CWMBRAN, when acting ad the middleman are a joke!! Ordered an oven on line and it's over a week and no delivery yet, even though the online company says it's despatched! Reasons for delay range from weight of parcel to APC moving premises!! Customer service non existent!!

Earlier today i phoned there customer service team. I believe the representative was a female. I was enquiring about my item which should of been delivered weeks ago, that I hadn’t received yet. I was horrified at the response I got. I was belittled and made out to be a liar. This upset me and caused me a lot of stress and with being pregnant this was awful. I’ve never been spoken to in this manner by anyone that deals with enquires and customer care. There was no Care in her voice what so ever. She then proceeded to say a woman called such and such had signed for it at my address. I was confused and clearly my mind was like who is this woman and why is she signing for my deliveries outside my house. Confused and upset with the woman on the phone stating 'i can see on our GPS it was delivered to your door! Blah blah blah. I was deeply upset. Now luckily after crying to my sister she then explained to me that a woman at the same number house on a different street next to us goes by that name. How bazaar. I then phoned back and was put through to a male member of the customer service team. He spoke with a calm voice and dealt with my enquiry with excellence, empathy and care.

Received card today 6th March with Glasgow phone number which I called only to be told that APC was closed due to adverse weather as of 5th March, the day before I received the card. Called the 0800 number and spoke to a member of APC staff who sounded disappointed to hear that I'd like it delivered, I get the strong impression that I was expected to travel 6.6miles to the depot for the parcel. I was told that the next time that the parcel will be "out for delivery" is Friday the 9th of March. I have asked for the courier to leave the parcel with a neighbour. I'm unimpressed so far and will update this on Friday evening. In the meantime, when I can confirm which business has sent the parcel I will inform them of my experience with APC Glasgow and they can decide if they want to continue using them or not.

I was expecting a timed delivery of refrigerated medicine, I received no advanced notification of a time slot. I had to drop my wife at work (10 minutes away) and on the way back the delivery driver phoned asking why no one was at home. I returned home to find an APC van blocking my driveway in an area which has permit only parking on the road. I had to park without permit to speak to the driver who had already unloaded the delivery on to the driveway. The delivery was of medicine which states 'must be refrigerated immediately upon receipt'. I therefore did this. In the space of 2 minutes I returned to my car to find a parking warden. I rang the depot to register my complaint and their response was 'you took it upon yourself to park there'. Needless to say I am very unhappy with this thoughtless service; the driver knew I was returning home having phoned me, he could have parked outside my property comfortably without blocking my driveway and when I spoke to the depot there was no acknowledgement that their driver's actions contributed to this situation in anyway. The only reason I am not giving APC 1 star is that I did receive my delivery.

Poor experience. We buy so so many things online from Ebay, Amazon an elsewhere and hardly ever have any issues. But this was something else! -Expected day of delivery I left a signed note in porch "leave in porch but if you MUST get a signature then go next door to number..." 'Came home to a card saying not allowed to leave in porch or leave with neighbour! -I asked for delivery 2 days later. On that day I received a text and email both saying delivery between 11.20-13.20. I left a card in the porch saying I was IN and to ring bell/knock hard. I stayed in with no music or TV on and was in front room overlooking road. At 10.50 I receive an email telling me of a "failed delivery attempt"!! No one had called, no card, nothing! -Straight away I ring APC, their systems are down can I phone back 20 minutes later!? -I ring another number from their failed delivery email and the woman (Amy) was very bubbly and helpful but said I'd come through to the wrong distribution centre (I'd rung the number and pressed the menu options as instructed by them!!). -Amy couldn't contact the distribution centre there and then as there was a 10 minute call waiting time! -She did ring me back a little later and said she didn't know why I'd just received the failed delivery email as the package was on the van to be delivered that morning! -It was finally delivered later in the day. I'm just glad to get it! Their collection depot is about 7 miles from me and it would have been a huge inconvenience going to collect it, not to mention a waste of petrol. Why so difficult?! To be fair Amy was good and helpful but the APC systems and organisation? So bad that I'm afraid I'll be put off ordering anything of value in the future from a company that use APC as their courier.

Courier apparently tried to deliver package when I'm working from home and was awaiting other packages which got delivered. They said a card was left but never seen one. No SMS/email notifications. No signs on the building in Edinburgh where the reception is. Staff wearing completely different company logos on their jackets. While am always keen to support new or developing businesses unfortunately not this one. It's not hard to print out signs to let customers know where to go or implement cheaper email notifications even if it has to be done manually by someone to improve service and reputation. I would no choose this company for my business not matter how much money they'd save me.
