So after receiving an email from “APC overnight” stating my parcel would be delivered by them, I had a blond moment and started to panic that they would be delivering my parcel during the night 🤦🏻‍♀️ Anyway once I googled them and discovered this was (obviously) not the case, I came across these reviews! My panic was then that I would not be receiving my parcel at all or without incident, as it seems like everyone had a problem, prompting them to leave 1 star reviews!! Anyway, my parcel arrived well with the 2 hour window, less than 24 hours after I ordered it, without incident and with a polite delivery driver!! So I thought I’d share my positive experience since they seem to be taking a lot of flack in other reviews!! Thanks!!

I am very disappointed with your service and complain on the following grounds:- Why was a text message sent which clearly indicated it was from APC giving an estimated delivery time which could never have been fulfilled if the driver finished at 4pm Why was I given a tracking number to follow the progress of my parcel if it was not accurate, at 13.20 your system indicated that the driver was literally just around the corner from my address, but by 13.45 no parcel had been delivered. When I rang your office to see if he had not managed to locate us I was told that your system was not tracking the driver with my parcel as he was nowhere near my address. I have been given excuses that the text message sent is generated by the sender accessing your system to send it, but then told they should not have done this because it was not accurate. Why make something available to the sender on your system if does not give appropriate information. I was also told that you are 48 hrs behind on some deliveries which does not bode well for a next day delivery service I have now been informed that my parcel should arrive tomorrow, and therefore I have to stay in and wait for another day to take delivery of a parcel from a company who seems not to be able to organise systems and deliver promises.

I was not in for delivery and they only deliver monday - friday 8:00 till 16:00, not much use to an individual in a full time job, at least Royal Mail can hold my parcell at the depot down the road which is not 30 miles away, and i can pick it up or get it delivered on a saturday

Out when courier called: Card left, handwritten with a digit missing, rang depot twice but no reply not even a message service so I emailed. Grumpy and rude call from APC Cambridge person Saturday morning. No apology but lots of attitude. Apparently missing digit is my fault. Told him to return item to sender.

Expected item beginning of June. Nothing arrived. Still waiting today 28th August. Company say item is lost. Then found and re sent. Then lost again. Absolutely useless.

Drivers are unaware of time! Why give an estimate window of 2 hours only to attempt delivery 45mins before the allotted time window??..& without notification only after the attempt was made? Utter madness

100% success rate by the brilliant team at APC at destroying my parcels, the box was presented to me by the driver in a non APC van, when i asked how the damage happened he said he didnt know but he did know what as inside hmm, at this point he just walked away with no apology for the damage to the box or as i have now found the dent to the metal container in the box. for the waste of time complaints department the consignment ref is 0000005

If punctuality or communication are at all important for you, best avoid APC. I ordered a small indoor tree for my fiancé for her birthday, 6 weeks ahead of the date, and organised for it to be delivered on her actual birthday. We live in a first floor flat, there isn’t anywhere I can hide a plant of any size for any length of time without killing it! I even took the day off of work to make sure I was around to receive the delivery and make sure I could give it to her. Her birthday comes, and I spend all day sitting around at home not doing any activity of leaving the house for risk of missing it, and trying to track the package online. It was shipped overnight with delivery “guaranteed” by 4pm. 4pm comes and goes and after a couple of calls and emails to APC I eventually hear that it never even went out for delivery as they didn’t have any space left in the van. That was a real punch to the gut, what a way to enjoy my fiancé’s birthday and what a good use of a day’s holiday from work. They clearly knew it wasn’t going to be delivered when the van went out without it in the morning, and yet they didn’t bother to let me know or even update the online tracking so I could find out. Do APC deliver? Sure, they probably do, I have reason to doubt it. But if you care about when your delivery is made, if you care whether things arrive a day late, and if you care about communication - either being updated about a change to a delivery, or in terms of being able to get a through to someone to ask - then I would strongly recommend you use a different company.

Dreadful company. Took a week to deliver an overnight package. No one picks up the phone, so you can't get hold of them. No initial delivery attempt made to my knowledge, no card left, and no way to contact them as they don't respond. Eventually the package arrived, a week later than paid for, delivered by a rude delivery guy, who left it outside the main building then buzzed to tell me it was here and I had to come and get it. No, you need to deliver it, that's what you're paid for. Then he got aggressive when I asked him if he was just going to dump it out there... Avoid like the plague, utter ammeters and rude ones at that.

Ordered some fish from a well respected online company. Good communications saying will be delivered on the Thursday by APC now I knew this was going to be fun..... Waited in all day must of been one of the last deliveries was ment to be here between 8am - 4pm arrived 4:20pm driver must of took the fish all around his delivery and we all know what they drive like so needless to say my fish had a longer journey than needed. Could of easily dropped off earlier on the round.

Think twice before using APC, service standards now at an all time low!! We have been using APC for years, but will be leaving them again soon for the second time. They are ok when everything is totally normal, however when anything goes wrong they are simply horrific. The franchises take absolutely no responsibility for anything and put all costs and inconvenience directly onto their customers. We have had several parcels stolen now in a short amount of time (last scans being at APC hub) and also considerable damages, however APC offer no resolution or answer to the problem (only excuses) and do not even cover cost price for the stolen parcels leaving us well out of pocket. The whole claims process is a messy battle and not really cost effective. Delays and missed deliveries along with vanishing parcels has now become a regular problem. They seem to have excuses for everything, meaning that they simply never take responsibility for anything. I understand the networks are busy because of the increase in parcels due to Covid 19 however APC just put the increased parcels straight onto the drivers (paid day rate) who can't cope with the amount of increased drops etc and meaning that a lot of parcels don't get delivered when they are supposed to. We just get told things like "driver didn't have time" etc, it's that bad it's laughable. We have also been told by APC to avoid sending any parcels out on Mondays because that's when a lot of things happen in the network, it's just shocking. In summary APC is making a fortune with the recent increase of parcels but is just banking all the money and not reinvesting any in order to maintain an acceptable level of service to it's customers. I have found APC service to have fallen to an unacceptable level, they are argunmentative, obstructive and although cheap initiatially they work out expensive in the long run. We have struggled to speak to any managers etc when trying to resolve problems and we have never had a call back from a manager despite numerous requests. It's very poor and all very playground. Only thing they do on time and don't miss any tricks with is their invoices, they are on the ball with that one. Just a shame that same effictiveness isn't used during the services that they are being paid for. I could not recommend APC overall despite cheap initial prices, for us they they have become a regular problem instead of a service provider.

I received an email this morning telling me that the estimated time of delivery for my parcel was between 1253 and 1453 this afternoon. I waited in all afternoon, sitting in the front room, keeping an eye on the road outside. On checking the tracking at 3pm, it showed that the "driver is at Stop 15 and you are Stop 19”. OK, I thought, he is running a bit later than expected. I continued to wait. I checked APC's tracking system two or three times an hour thereafter - probably a total of 12-15 times during the afternoon. Each time, it showed the driver in various different locations within a 10 mile radius of me, but it always said "driver is at Stop 15 and you are Stop 19”. At 5pm (2 hours after the estimated time-slot), the map showed he was in my small town - hooray! No one arrived. I checked again half an hour later, and he had left my postcode and was 2 miles further on. The last check was at 6.40pm when the map showed he was north of Bournemouth - 50 miles from me. At that point my parcel disappeared from the tracking system. What is the point of offering tracking if (a) it does not provide accurate information and (b) the driver is actually in my town, less than a mile from me and does not deliver my parcel? Rubbish service! (parcel number 0060067)

Very stressful experience...delivery first came a day before it suppose to so no one could collect it, than it took several phone calls to organise redelivery, they promised next day They will deliver for sure than they used excuses not to deliver, finally I received a parcel In a box which was damaged(wholes and scratches) and tv inside with dents, I was promised emails and phone calls from manager but that never happened either. If you can avoid this company at any cost

For anyone considering using APC Overnight Couriers, don’t bother, save yourself the time, stress and frustration. Day 1: You’d think that when something is set for ‘NEXT DAY delivery’ that it would be delivered next day! Oh no. Absolutely not. Instead they lead you to false hope, sending you delivery time slots and tracking ID numbers- only for the tracking ID to be cut off before your parcel has even been delivered!! So when you call the depo for an update you get ‘don’t worry it will definitely be delivered today’ - okay cool you’d think, confirmation. Great. Oh no...then they don’t even deliver it anyway! So when you call back the depo, they don’t even answer. So now that’s a day wasted, waiting in for a delivery that doesn’t even get delivered. A day of hoping to finally see my baby’s pram- ruined. Day 2: Another text message with a delivery time slot and tracking ID...great, finally getting somewhere. The tracking ID doesn’t even work properly! Albeit, 2 of the parcels were delivered... (finally). But where’s the third?! You know, a pram comes in multiple boxes, and it’s no good having missing pieces! So again, you ring up the depo to track the 3rd parcel because yesterday it said it was ‘out for delivery’ but today there’s nothing for parcel 3. In their words they ‘have no idea where it is’!! - great customer service I must say - I’m sorry but when you’ve just paid a large amount of money for brand new pram you’d hope it was going to be looked after during transition instead of being left here there and everywhere!! So finally, as it turns out the parcel has been ‘accidentally’ left at the hub and will be delivered tomorrow. Not good enough. At all. Not when it was supposed to be delivered NEXT DAY. So much stress has been caused by this and the customer service is absolutely diabolical.

Diabolic service,untruthful & disinterested customer service staff. always deliver before Open for business but this time say tried to deliver when we were closed sadly the time of photo proof does not agree time open & in attendance,just the usual excuse for not next day I have now blacklisted APC overnight with all my suppliers

For 16 days I’ve been trying to get my parcel been told driver didn’t put it on the van on more than 1 occasional then told yes it’s on the van I personally put it on still no delivery had a driver come nope my parcel not on the van I’ve spent countless hours speaking to them they just give you a load of excuses not allowed to collect my parcel due to covid everyone should definitely avoid using this company at all costs not sure how there able to provide this service as it’s the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with and no they don’t return your emails because on top of phoning them I’ve emailed them 4 times this company is a complete shambles

Useless, delivery driver failed to note request to leave with neighbor, as we needed to be away on the day, ignored the large label marked perishable goods, droped the parcel in front of a South facing door a 11:10 AM, in the full Sun. called depot spoke to Ja, just stated that the delivery driver left as instructed, and he will speak to them. Appreciate the short time allowed per delivery, but leaving perishable goods in full sun, when shaded area is available, or could have been left with any of three neighbors!

Totally useless, ignored the redelivery and came when they wanted. It's impossible to organise a time that suits. They lie when you call them and tell you it'll be with you within certain times and no one ever shows up (this has happened twice!). They make it impossible to obtain your parcel which basically amounts to theft! Wouldn't use in a million years and wouldn't use a company that contracts them for delivery. The lady on the phones at the Banbury depot is quite possibly the rudest woman I've ever spoken to and despite promising to call me back with news on my parcel she didn't! I've written off ever receiving it.
