I moved house and used this company to transer my furniture and they damaged my tv. I have proof 2 days before the transportation that the tv did not have a single scratch on it. The tv box which I wrapped myself carefully because the tv is new and I have my two roommates as witnesses. Even though the company will not take responsibility for it. The day of the transportation the van was overloaded, the driver had to take 3 orders on a very tight schedule, all our items on the delivery were on top of each other and as that was not enough, they had to take out different furniture that wasn’t ours, so they could take out our items of the van. Which is unacceptable, because it means their furniture was on top of ours. If it was explained like this on the first place, I could have used my car to put furniture in top of each other and transport them myself. But I paid for a securitied transportation so all my belongings were secured and undamaged. The drivers were in such a rush to catch up with the next delivery, which really did not help the situation. First time a company does not take responsibilities for their own mistakes and acts.

I hired AnyVan for a move in October in Leeds. I cannot recommend then highly enough. Thomad and his colleagues were great nothing too much trouble, everything arrived safe and sound. Thank you for taking the hassle out of the move.

I’ve wasted time and money with these unethical scammers, will find any loophole to keep your money - they outsource the jobs to drivers so it’s pot luck who you get. They promise to give you a two hour slot so you can track the driver - when I bought the service it was claimed this would be done be day before so I thought at least I won’t be wasting my whole day and can plan. Turns out it’s not the case if you end up getting a disorganised driver. Customer service are clearly used to being asked for a refund and have practiced their refusal to a T. I emailed the CEO. Hopefully a more ethical provider enters this market as this is one business I won’t be sorry to see go bust.

Most unhappy with anyvan. Pleasant enough removal men. Damage done to my two oak wardrobes and the driver took photos and said he would let the office know. I heard nothing from them and had been very busy moving house. As I don’t phone myself within the 7 day period I have absolutely no comeback and am Left with my damaged items to repair myself. So I do advise taking insurance in future but I will not be using anyvan again

Worst company i have ever encountered, ignorant driver, conflicting details as to what was and wasn't to be moved, a single hired hand that was complaining that there was a SINGLE bag in front of the the staircase that i was currently picking up, kissing his teeth and telling me im a joke while on the phone to his own company, he was a random old man that didnt even look like he could lift a matress, SCAMMERS. Talking to the company, they said they couldnt refund me, even though the details were 2 completely different things from his tablet and my email, stating that it was first floor, his saying ground floor. They expect a 9months pregnant lady to help THEM move items. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

My daughter booked Anyvan to move up to Edinburgh from West Yorkshire on Saturday 21st September. When she booked it she was quite specific that, although there were a number of boxes, there were also quite a few miscellaneous items as well. When the two men came to pick up the furniture etc, straightaway one of them said "there are more boxes than was itemised so you will need to pay another £150 to get me to take them", which we did in cash! We were not happy with that but went along with it as we needed all the items to be moved. However, not only did the driver spend a lot of time on his phone not doing much (although the younger man did most of the moving of boxes etc on his own), but the driver then said he couldn't take any more items because they had another pick-up in Whitehaven in Cumbria and they needed the space for that. Consequently they left with plenty of space in their van without having taken all the items from my daughter's house. I would have thought that, since my daughter booked the van for her house contents that she should have been a priority rather than the two men calling elsewhere en route for somebody else. As it happened, my daughter expected them in Edinburgh around 6 pm but they didn't get to her until at least 8.30 pm (she had had to move her container to a different site because of the lateness of the delivery, although she did ring the driver and tell him that so he was aware that they had plenty of time to deliver, despite it being quite late). I am furious that, first of all we were charged another £150 in addition to what my daughter had paid for the hire of the van in the first place, and secondly that they had to go to Whitehaven en route to Edinburgh (which is quite a long detour). I won't be recommending this company to anyone as I feel it was a rip-off and we are now left with a lot of belongings of my daughter's which we now cannot get up to her in Edinburgh (we live in West Yorkshire). I must say that the younger man of the two was very helpful and did his best to get all the furniture/boxes on to the van but I am afraid the driver did very little and spent most of his time in the van on the phone and didn't help very much.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY – THEY ARE FRAUDULANT AND UNETHICAL. The service that you get have no relation to Anyvan – ignore all the uniforms, vans and branded merch as advertised online as these jobs are outsourced to unrelated “man with a van” services. Would be a complete roulette of luck as to whether you get a good service or not – ours was awful and Anyvan have refused to refund anything for the premium service which we bought and did not receive – customer service absolutely diabolical. We have incurred significant losses and gained absolutely nothing from instructing Anyvan. Fraudulent and unethical organisation – DO NOT BE FOOLED BY SMOOTH TALKING SALES PEOPLE. A few of the endless faults in the service we received: - Late arrival (one man instead of 2) - No prior experience of packing (we paid for a packing service and were promised they were confident and regularly reviewed) - Failed to bring boxes/ packing materials which we paid for (so we had to source and pay for these ourselves) - Service took 8 hours instead of 2 as sold - Needed to rope in family and do multiple trips ourselves to help with the process (in 30 degree heat with a small baby which is why we bought the premium service and what we wanted to avoid) - Expected to help unload the van at the other end resulting in injury that led to time off work - Multiple £ thousand pound damages done (e.g. sofa not protected and other high value items damaged) to which Anyvan’s only response was to claim on insurance - Rude and uninterested Anyvan staff at every point who couldn’t care less if you’ve had a bad experience with their organisation. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY – THEY ARE FRAUDULANT AND UNETHICAL.

Honestly, what’s not to like with ANYVAN! Kept up to date every step of the way. Polite, punctual, careful, respectful, knowledgeable, top class service and easy to use website. And the best bit INEXPENSIVE compared to ALL others.

Extremely friendly driver who helped me with the moves. While I had concerns about one or two boxes being mixed with the boxes of another AnyVan customer, it was quite a relief when I realised that the van had separate sections for the two customers he had been assigned to. And he was punctual in terms of pickup and drop so all in all a stress-free move.

We bought a sofa in Tamworth and it had to arrive to our house in London. Picked up and arrived in time. Kept us posted all the time while this happened. The guys who brought it were amazing. Our house is especially tricky to get 4 seater sofa into as it is an old Georgian house and the sofa had to be lifted to the third floor. They managed it like wizards- no mark on the wall and all up spiral staircase..! definitely will use them again. Warmly recommended!

They text me that they will arrive 8-10am. They claimed they gave me a miss call and came to my door at 8:15. I received a missed call from a withheld number. I was at home the whole time and my buzzer did not ring nor did anyone knock my door. My house is quiet due to having a sleeping baby, so anyone outside I can hear. Also being a serviced apartment with a gate, they should have been able to reach me from reception. The driver appear to have only given me missed call. I chased at 8:45am. AnyVan said they have sent the driver away to another job. AnyVan say I can either cancel and lose my £151 or rebook with another 50% cost. With multiple calls to them, they didn't want to listen and resolve the situation. A move like mine is normally 2 hours hence the £151 price. So they instead gave me for that price a missed call and 15 minutes wait. I certainly feel scammed.

On the 3rd of September, I had the displeasure of using this company. Avoid this service at any cost! I booked a house removal, paid £180 pounds for it and on the day of the removal 2 guys turn up and tell me they can't take all my items because they have other jobs. I then call their customer service who were the most useless and unfriendly bunch of people I have ever encountered and they told me I needed to book an additional removal team but this time based on time. I ended up paying £180 for the first team (who took half my stuff) plus £250 for 3 hours for the second team. Both teams took half of my stuff and arrived both at the same time at the destination address (my new house). Ridiculous! They didn't allow me to cancel one of the teams, didn't refund me on anything and the whole thing cost me over £400... Find a real removal company, don't use these guys they are absolutely horrible!!

Deleting reviews, I wouldn't 't trust anything you see! after leaving this review for one of their drivers, I log on to find its been removed, I wouldn't trust anything you see on here as they clearly doctor their reviews... Here was my review of one of their so-called "Anyvan Accredited Gold Movers": Company quoted me for 600kg and half a van around a week and a half before I was due to move, I was told would be picking up between Wednesday and Friday, after several emails and trying to go over their heads contacting Anyvan for them to contact me with regards to an exact date and or time, I finally heard late Tuesday afternoon that it would be being picked up the next day! I literally had to rush to unpack my whole house within 1 day due to serious lack of notice! Fast forward to the day of collection, I a polish guy, I assume came, who didn't speak too much English with a girl. He looked at my stuff and kept saying it seems like 800kg. Despite paying greatly for this service, I had thought to speed things up by literally moving almost everything except for sofa and fridge, freezer and washing machine into the front room off the street. The girl did next to nothing, the guy kept having breaks every half hour, they would disappear into the van without a word, leaving me in limbo. As the half van started to fill up, I noticed he wasn't using the full size of the half of the van I had paid for height wise and I had to tell him and direct him how to stack the items up so they were efficient as possible. Eventually, the guy left, but this wasn't the worst part. The next day I received a call claiming that my load was "exactly 1200kg" or 1 full van load and they wanted to double the price I had paid, despite me carefully calculating the load I estimated I could have been 100-200kg out, not 600kg! They had me over a Barrell, after showing me some possible doctored video footage, who knows whether they had added additional weights on the truck hidden underneath? I had to pay the extra in cash to the driver so they could avoid VAT? The man I spoke to also had the cheek to tell me the driver had said I hadn't helped out much, despite me having already essentially done their job by moving everything already into the front room for easy access and helping with most of the stuff onto the van! On the day of my arriving in Spain, the driver came later than expected with everything seemingly intact apart from quite a few dirty marks on our bed mattress and headboards. We lived in a 2nd-floor apartment as I'd written on the quote, The man seemed to stay on the van and just move things around, doing nothing whilst he waited for us to bring stuff up, the girl lifted a few things to the apartment. I could tell they were both super unfit and really should be in a less active style job as at one point walking up the stairs with a washing machine the guy looked like he was going to have a heart attack! Overall I and my petite wife ended up doing most of the work, every time I came back down to the van to collect I would see them sitting or slouching looking very tired and disappearing, I assume for a cigarette. Overall I was very dissatisfied with the company, especially having seen one with such good reviews, maybe using a different driver, or just maybe a large tv delivered? I definitely wouldn't recommend this company at all, through every step of the process I find it's been very unprofessional and tbh they don't deserve to be rated by Anyvan. So if you want a van with hidden charges, lack of communication and very lazy drivers who barely help and look like they are going to keel over from exhaustion at any moment then maybe this is the company for you?

To call these people cowboys would be an insult to real cowboys turned up in a tatty Luton van with the front bumper hanging off playing ultra loud music smoking, fag butts left on the drive I had to tell them to turn the music off as it would upset other residents. Not a good first impression one pretended not to speak English at first. Right from the off it was clear they didn’t want to be there. They proceeded to load some items then got stuck with the sofa at the front door. This is when I realised that instead of paying £500 for professional removal men I had been lumbered with two witless morons. This is when I informed them I was calling any van to complain. The first person I spoke with at any van was no use at all promised to speak to the company and sort it out and call me back. That never happened. What did happen was that these guys boss called me I told him what I thought of his employees and their unprofessional attitude, he said he’d speak to them kept calling me mate and had absolutely zero customer service skills. By this time I am in full panic mode so I call any van back and talk to Tony on customer service, Tony is an absolute star he offered solutions over the phone so I could remove the front door to get the sofa out, solutions which I would have expected the so called professional men they had sent to offer. Tony saved the day but that didn’t make up for the lack of professional standards or attitude from the two removal men. The van they bought had just a dirty worn floor to which the soft furnishings were unceremoniously up ended on and to add insult to injury was not large enough to get all our belongings in and some had to be left behind, it’s a good job we weren’t moving far away and this despite being charged almost £500 for this service. Off load was slightly better as I sensed they saw the end of the tunnel. However after they had scarpered I noticed damage to a chest of drawers and a king size mattress all in all a terrible experience. I selected any van because of the trust pilot reviews however if any van want to maintain their brand status they need to check their contractors standards and practices as this particular company fall well short of any professional standards and any form of customer service. Please please do not subject any more of your customers to this terrible company

Used them twice. First time no problem at all. Second time, the drivers refused to park the van just 300 meters away from my property and started unloading my furniture in the street. After all my stuff was (thrown) in the street, I asked them to park the van ang get my stuff in my flat as I have paid extra to get it to the 2nd floor. They simply refused saying that they weren't paid to walk 300 meters. So they just left me in the street with all my furniture. Customer service was very rude, saying that its my fault because I didn't notify them that the parking was far from the property. No refunds yet, still didn't figure out how to sue them in the best way, but will definitely do. AVOID THEM!!!
