DREADFUL! I had to use AnyVan as my removal co. cancelled 36 hours before house completion... AnyVan were available-that's the positive. Long story short: arrived with someone else's enormous sofa, so my stuff didn't fit in! I'd paid £1400+ (Double what my original company wanted) and then at 2.15pmish (hours after the sale had gone through and I was technically in breach of contract) I had to book another van from another company, costing me a further £750! The sofa was then delivered before my stuff and the lorry eventually arrived at my new home at 9.16pm!!! The additional drivers that I had paid extra for then helped AnyVan operators unload and all lorries left at 1am! Yes, throughout the day I kept AnyVan aware and they did NOTHING. Theo told me that the lorry was not allowed to carry other people's stuff and spoke to the driver-fat lot of good that did. He then said he'd see if he could get another vehicle to help and he'd get back to me in a couple of hours. Maybe. It's a removal company and everyone knows that moving house is stressful so why add to that stress AnyVan, by being incompetent in the moment? What choice did you leave me with when I was already in breach of contract and could have been sued by the new owner of my ex property! As I moved just before Christmas I wrote a complaint to AnyVan at the start of the new year-I just couldn't face it ruining my christmas. Outlined some damage that had occurred (I've found more since) but AnyVan took great delight in stating that they weren't responsible as it was outside the one week reporting period. After that, AnyVan did nothing for three weeks despite my reminding them. Then I was offered a paltry sum. Honestly, I was being patient but the figure was so insulting for what they put me through that now I'll review then anywhere I can! If you want to move one item, fine. For removals, forget it. They are SO expensive compared to other companies and their slogan could not be less true.

It's a scam, Stay clear of AnyVan. We paid them in full to collect some items from our restaurant and move it into storage. They turned up to the job, refused to do it, and then refused to give our money back based on a 3 minute wait which they refused to do.

I encountered many problems with my move, an easy one bedroom move turned into a couple of days, lots of phone calls and stress. The initial move should had cost me £196 and I ended up paying £389. The biggest issue I had was been charged an additional £100 as the move was on the 2nd floor. I booked my move over the phone and the salesperson did not ask me what floor the move was on. After writing a formal complaint, the complaint team told me that I should know what information to give when booking and its not their problem. On the day, when I was charged the initial £100, the customer service lady said that the sales call would be looked into and if the salesperson did not ask what floor the move is on, I would be entitled to a refund. Mixed communication from various team members in the head office and far from a 'the customer is always right' kind of company. Anyvan promotes themselves as a cost-effective moving company although they will do anything to squeeze more money out of the customer and refunds are not permitted leaving the customer with no choice to pay the extra fees. I am at least pleased to say that the removal men did their job very well.

Absolutely Do not use this company!! They took my money and then did the most awful job and offered no refund whatsoever I paid over £800 to have a kitchen transported on a specific date They took the money and then didn't turn up on the time they had agreed to- then they didn't deliver it in the day they said they would...... 😳 This cost me a lot of money becise it was time crucial On top of that the drivers caused such a scene at the pickup point that the shop phoned me saying they were about to call the police to have the drivers removed because they were being aggressive and shouting..!!! Then when they finally arrived on the next day from which I had paid them for they said they would arrive at 3pm and ended up arriving at 6pm- I feel it wasn't really the drivers fault but anyvans organisational skills that caused all the drama- A horrible experience and I wish I had not bothered

If I could leave zero stars, I would! Stay well clear of this company. We paid them in full to collect some furniture from our shop and move it into storage. They turned up to the job, refused to do it, and then refused to give our money back! The customer service is atrocious and very unhelpful. I HIGHLY recommend you stay away from this company! Any van have already escalated my case and I have spoken to manager before writing this review. They concluded to I wasn’t eligible for a refund because the driver already paid for petrol to come to the collection point!

After being bombarded with sales call, we decided to go with AnyVan to move the contents of a large 4 bedroom house. On the day 1 transit and 2 Luton vans turned up. No protective equipment but 3 dust sheets. We could see from the start that they couldn’t fit everything in. The only way to contact AnyVan was through on-line chat, which had a 35 minute wait. They were absolutely no help at all. A lot of items had to be left in the neighbours garage, including washing machine. TV’s had to go in the car as there was no protective equipment. I now have to hire a van and drive from Hampshire to Suffolk to collect our belongings.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY DAMAGE YOUR FURNITURE AND RUSH THE WORK. It looks good on website but it's all a ruse to capture you and then they deliver a low quality service. In our case, they scratched five pieces of real wood furniture that clearly needed to be handled with care. Although they offer insurance (extra) it has a £250 excess and is almost useless. When you complain they run through a series of vague get outs.

Our AnyVan experience was less than satisfactory owing to the vehicle breaking down on our driveway, drivers having no means of repairing or any breakdown cover to support. We were asked to jumpstart the van from our car. The drivers also asked to borrow two bricks to secure the truck on our sloped driveway, when they realised they were stuck they used a hammer to smash the bricks to pieces and left us to clean up the mess, with no broom due to them having all of our possessions. Prices look cheap to begin with but quickly hike up with add-ons and fees, we will always use a local professional outfit moving forwards as you get what you pay for.

Customer services operate like a call centre with call takers on commission The original quote is not inclusive even with the premium package . Count on paying at least £200 more on the day . The firm acts as a broker between client and man with van drivers . Ours was excellent but none are vetted . Avoid this firm and use a reputable firm for removals

Still no refund despite the company not collecting our goods. Been waiting for over 10 days and no contact since the initial reply saying, the driver could not park. Before you reply, please look at the pictures that the driver sent you and you can see that they are not of the loading bay as per the instructions. Also nobody contacted us in the allotted time to inform us that they could not park. We had to call you and you said you were unable to schedule for that day. We therefore called CitySprint who arrived within minutes and were able to load the items in the specified loading bay.

Worst company ever. Treating their driving partners horribly. Customer service is very bad. Deducting the money unfairly. Impossible to make profit working with AnyVan.

We were emailed to say that the delivery would be between 8-12. They had actually booked it in for 4-6pm so we waited all morning in vain. Even then they were 2 and half hours late, the piano didn't arrive at mine till after 9pm and it's 15 minutes drive from where they collected it. When I contacted Anyvan they refunded me £4 of the £254 cost

AnyVan said customers can cancel booking 48hrs before the booked moving time. And those customers can get back full payment. However, when you really do it , the customer service team will tell you that the cancellation policy is talking about 2 days before your moving day. So, if you count on hour for cancellation , you may need to pay some penalty charge. I think this company is evil. Keep away from this company. And don’t trust any staff what they said because they are not honest and the company doesn’t care the honesty.

Ok so I reviewed Anyvan a couple of days ago. I received a reply. I was told that they would not refund my money. They just repeated the answer they gave before and came up with stupid reasons why.. I went to the flat yesterday and my partner and I managed to move our wardrobe out of the bedroom without dismantling it and I have filmed it all so have proof now. All they needed to do is tilt the wardrobe. I’m disabled so I know that it would take more time to move it so on moving day when they arrived the were very busy and rushed, I did try and show them how to move it but they didn’t speak English and they couldn’t wait to leave. They just stood by when I was trying to demonstrate how to move the item. This was the reply… Good Evening Sinead, Thank you for your response. After reviewing your booking an outcome has been reached. 1. To safely move your item without causing any damage, the item would have to be dismantled to be moved. Alternatively, the item should have been dismantled upon arrival. The driver at the time was not pre[pared to dismantle the item as it was not requested when the booking was confirmed. 2. The picture you provided confirms that the wardrobe, upright, is taller than the door frame. At this time, the stance is final and no further refund will be processed. If you need any further assistance, don't hesitate to contact us. The wardrobe can’t be dismantled and there was no mention of the 2 seater sofa…. The reasons given are defunct. Please please don’t use this company. They pray on vulnerable people and have no intention of refunding your money.

I thought Anyvan would be a good service. I was more than sorely disappointed. The movers arrived and couldn’t speak English at all. I couldn’t communicate with them and they refused to move two items. A wardrobe and a 2 seater sofa, both of which I had moved into the flat fine. I tried to tell them how to remove the items and they didn’t even really try. They were not heavy for two people and I even tried to do it myself but I’m disabled and just wasn’t able to show them how to remove the items. As I was trying the man took photos of me without even letting me know. I suffer from anxiety and depression so when I logged into my account and saw the pictures I was so upset. I paid money for each item taken. They have refused to refund the money to me. I am struggling financially and I have had to book a different moving team to help me. I’m on disability payment and I really needed a refund. They were not able to provide the service I have paid for. On another note the movers left me at the flat and disappeared for an hour without telling me what was happening. I was waiting at my new property for an hour. When they finally arrived they refused to bring any of the furniture upstairs and put everything in the living room. Leaving as quickly as possible. The whole ordeal was really stressful. I tried to speak to Anyvan where the phone hung up more than 3 times. It took so long to get through. I was told that they would then send the request to the refund team after giving them the photos and they came back with a no? Basically I feel like they have stolen money for a service that was just terrible. I’m feeling very low about the whole thing. This is my first bad review for anything. I’m a really easy going person as I find it tough to be confrontational. I’m very sad!
