“Have only one complaint. I received some very pretty bags, but on taking them out of the plastic coverings, smelt of very strong creosote, which hasn't yet left the bags - which are to be gifts. Have they dunked material into creosote to get a nice black? Am curious, and disappointed. Lovely bag, apart from the smell! Could not retail them with that smell.”

“Have been dealing with Ancient Wisdom for 10 years they are an excellent firm to deal with, communications are excellent, any problems with orders are dealt with in a very professional way and very quickly. Orders are shipped out very quickly and are well packed. Would recommend them to anyone starting up in business nothing is too much trouble for them.”

“Warning, if you are thinking of purchasing Nag Champa Fragrance Oil, which is actually produced in-house by Ancient Wisdom, then don't. The fragrance is absolutely nothing like Nag Champa. I returned one bottle for analysis and AW say that there's nothing wrong with the product and that I should expect it to be "slightly different" to the fragrance of Nag Champa incense. In my book "slightly different" shouldn't end up being nothing like Nag Champa! Needless to say, AW won't replace the product nor refund my P&P for returning the sample. Bottom line is, avoid this product and expect poor service.”

Hi Lionel, Thank you for your feedback. There are many versions Nag Champa currently available, Satya Sai Baba Nag Champa is perhaps the most known one. We are sorry about your disappointment with our version of Nag Champa fragrance oil. We actually don't blend the oil ourselves, we are sourcing it from a specialized fragrance oils manufacturer based in the UK. “Being a new customer & new small business, I was unsure how to deal with a missing item in my order. I telephoned through & the item was added. It was made easy as I was sent a PayPal invoice for the difference. When my order arrived there was some breakages so I went on the chat for advice of what to do, Damian instructed me step by step & I was refunded in a few minutes. “I visited the showroom without an appointment. The staff were hostile, brusque, unhelpful and seemed oblivious to the fact that I wanted to part with money. The Office Mgr complained that she would have to pick the order herself, which consisted of bracelets and essential oils and repeatedly told me she could only give me twenty minutes of her time, despite my saying that I knew what I wanted and didn't need a 2-hour appointment. I really have to re-think our relationship.”

Dear Dulcie, Thank you for your review and I am sorry you have had a bad experience when visiting us in Sheffield. Both my colleague Luciana and I did not wish to make you feel unwelcome. Since we were not expecting your arrival and it was quite late in the day, we wanted to make you aware of this for your future reference, however we did not mean to come across as hostile. The last hour and a half of the day here is usually the busiest for us with all the couriers turning up to take deliveries for the day, hence we avoid scheduling showroom visits in this time. Luciana, the Showroom Manager, said she would pick your order as the warehouse staff were dealing with the couriers. This was not to complain to you, but to let you know why she would be leaving you on your own for a little while. She instructed you to come down to reception when you were ready so that I can take you to the large statues area and show you the products, which is what I did. Once more, I am sorry if we came across unhelpful as this was not our intention. When we parted, I was left under the impression that you were happy with seeing the large statues and that you would be getting back to us on Monday with regards to collecting one of them and I made sure you had all our details on the catalogue I have passed to you. I understand that we might have come across as a little bit rushed, however this was due to the time of the day and the workload involved in that time. If you do decide to book an appointment to visit us again in the future, both Luciana and I will be happy to assist. Once more many apologies for the inconvenience.
