“I have just recently started to sell gift baskets and bags, filled with your awesome scented soaps, the loaves, the bombs, the hearts and candles and many many more products from AW. The baskets are absolutely fantastic. I was very impressed with the way that AW packed the goods, because everything was received carefully wrapped up and perfect. My only dissappointment is that the courier charge to Gibraltar is very expensive as you treat it as zone 6 which is rest of the world. I don't really understand it as Gibraltar is in Europe. In this respect, have to get the goods delivered to Spain where the charge is only £25.00 and then the hassle to get the goods delivered to Gibraltar. The courier has to do 4 destinations to deliver to Spain but if the courier would deliver to Gibraltar if will only be 2 destinations ie Leeds to Gatwick and Gatwick to Gibraltar, how can this way be more expensive. Could this be looked into please.”

Hi Katharine, Thank you for your feedback. I am glad that you like the products. I spoke to our export department about the shipping prices to Gibraltar. We use a variety of couriers and checked their prices. The shipping rates to Gibraltar are much higher than to Spain. Unfortunately that's why we can't include it in the same zone with Spain and the shipping is available by quotation only. Re delivering of a parcel: once a parcel is picked up by the courier, it goes through their own distribution network. We can track the shipment, but are unable to change its route. “The products are generally good. Incentives etc good. The selection of products are good but could be a bit better in places such as packaging could be more varied. Also basic packaging can be off the mark though price wise, generally paper bags etc can be got elsewhere quite a bit cheaper which means I spend less when I do order and order less frequent as I'm not ordering the basic necessities here. The delivery price and time is OK - however - bit slow to process and dispatch compared to other wholesalers. The main thing I would say is that the online chat help has been bad every single time I used it bar one single time it was fine. I have been told they "don't know" for simple things like dimensions, been told the completely wrong information about simple things like dimensions, have had very long waiting times, and wouldn't say politeness is great either, generally the chat help leaves me aggravated and feeling less happy to buy.”

“I found Ancient Wisdom whilst searching for suppliers for my new venture - I was so pleased to have found a site with such a wonderful variety of goods. I placed my first order but unfortunately made a mistake - but Ancient Wisdom really helped explain the process and helped sort out my error. This was done in super quick time with great efficiency which meant that I recieved my order without any problems. The items I ordered were just as described - really good quality and fantastic value for money. I for one will be using Ancient Wisdom again and again. Would highly recommend. “The value of the products was fine, the delivery prompt and the service perfectly ok. However, I was slightly annoyed and upset that the 'welcome gift' of free products which you promised to attach to my order was - to a large extent - missing. Because it was 'free' it was not something I felt able to chase up, but it just left a slightly sour taste and is one of the reasons I haven't ordered from you since. You did ask for my opinion - I hope you don't mind receiving it!”

Hi Adrian, Thank you for your review. I checked on the welcome gifts and they actually were replaced with similar items from the same product group (up to the advertised value of £100 in retail prices). Even alternative gifts were supplied the original gifts are still listed on the invoice as 'out of stock'. I have to admit it is rather confusing. I'll talk to our accounts department about it. “The service is really great as i really appreciate sending a replacement for the batch of the bath bombs that was cracked. The second time i received it, it was in a good condition and the smell is outstanding. However, I would prefer if I get each bath bomb wrapped with the a transparent cellophane wrap to protect it more from any friction, it would even be in a better condition.”

“The site is so very well presented, each category neatly filed. The pricing is ok, some things like the agate necklaces could be better quality. Apart from that, I'd thoroughly recommend this site, its got the fasted delivery time as well! Deliveries are so well packaged too, with invoices clearly marked for checking, all the stock smells fantastic too. Overall, I really like it. If more "wholesale" companies kept to trade only and not letting the public in, prices could stay low and retailers would stay happy.”
