“This was a replacement for a very similar product, it is for my elderly mum. It is a Brilliant clock, very clear to read, mum particularly likes it because it gives of 'just enough light' so she can go to sleep but not be in total darkness. I would recommend this clock also the service was brilliant.”

“I liked the idea of this radio, thinking it would be perfect for my stepmother, who has Alzheimer’s. However, this radio was huge and very heavy. My stepmother would have rejected it immediately because of this. I knew from the picture that it was not beautiful but I had assumed it was small and neat. I was wrong. What I cannot understand is WHY this radio has to be enormous (and ugly). It cannot be difficult to produce a simple neat radio with the controls hidden by a cover or similar.”

“My mother is now 96 and went blind due to glaucoma a few years ago. She relied on her talking clock when she was at home but it's got lost since she went into a carehome, so I bought her a new one and she's delighted. It's only when you know someone who can't look at the clock or a calendar that you realise how often we do this when we can see and how disorientating it can be not to know what time or day it is. The button design is really easy to use, and hard to knock over and my mum kept pressing it while I was on the phone to her to 'prove she had got it'.”
