“Thank you for altering my dress and saving me time and effort looking for a new one! I ordered a dress from Australia but I guess something went wrong with the size conversion because when I received my dress it was at least one size too small. I was quite upset and even though the company offered to send me a replacement dress. I had to send my dress back to them first and then wait for the replacement hoping it would fit! No, thank you. My sister recommended Alterations Boutique. She had her wedding dress altered there and claimed they were brilliant. I booked an appointment and visited them for a fitting. To my surprise, the seamstress said she could let it out and use fabric from the hem (It was too long) to create small panels to extend the sides. I said "sure" and left the dress in her capable hands. I came back to pick up my dress 1 week later and it fit me like a glove. I couldn`t believe it! Very happy!”

“I bought 3 pairs of designer jeans during my trip to the US. The price was very good but the fit wasn`t perfect. I took them to Alterations Boutique to see if they could improve the fit although I particularly wanted to retain the detail on the side seams. The tailor performed a fitting and pinned the jeans to create the fit I was after. He assured me the original detail would be retained completely. He asked me to come back 3 days later. When I came back and tried the jeans on they looked great on me. The fit was perfect and the detail on the side was completely original.”

“This place is great for jacket alterations. I had my jacket altered by them a few weeks ago and I must say that these guys are great tailors. They shortened sleeves on my jacket from the shoulder which I am aware some tailors find quite tricky. At first I thought they hadn`t touched the shoulders when I came to collect the jacket because it looked perfect. I tried the jacket on and the sleeves had been shortened by exactly 1 inch. I have since taken more garments to them and I am sure they will do a great job.”

“I recentrly purchased a couple of suits. Although the jackets were the perfect size the trousers were slightly too small on the waist and too wide on the leg. Obviously, they had to be altered. I took them to my local dry cleaners but it turned out they didn`t have any fitting rooms so I was supposed to mark the trousers myself and provide them with the measurements I though that was a bad idea. I decided I would rather pay more and have them altered properly. I contacted Alterations Boutique and booked myself in for a fitting. The tailor was great and immediately I could tell he knew what he was doing. He said he could let the waist out, then he pinned the width and offered to adjust the seat as well. As I expected the final result was two pairs of beautifully tailored trousers.”

“I recently purchased a 3-piece suit for my wedding however, I wanted to have it tailored to my shape. The suit required quite extensive alterations as the jacket was too large on the shoulders and chest, the waistcoat felt too loose and the trousers were too wide. I wanted the suit to look perfect so I was looking for a professional tailor to alter it for me. I found Alterations Boutique and asked them if they could help me with my suit alterations. They invited me for a fitting the following day and the tailor perfomed a consultation. He was very meticulous and went though every single detail on the suit. The consultation took roughly 20 minutes and he asked me to come back for another fitting two days later. I collected my suit 1 week later and was very impressed. This place is great for suit alterations.”

“My old Tuxedo no longer looked right on me. Instead of buying a new Tuxedo I decided to invest in altering the old one. I knew about this place from a friend of mine so decided to give them a go. Although, they are not the cheapest I would still use them again as my Tux looked like new when I came to collect it. They performed very neat alterations and shaped the Tux to my build. “I bought a Michael Kors jumpsuit from Selfridges but it didn`t fit me correctly. It was too long and too wide on the waist. I absolutely loved it when I saw it online but unfortunately it didn`t look the same when I tried it on. The sales assistant in Selfridges offered me to leave the jumpsuit with them for in-house alterations however the turnaround time was too long and I really wanted to wear it that weekend. I googled alterations places near Selfridges and found Alterations Boutique. I called them and they offered to alter my jumpsuit the same day which was amazing. They did a beautiful job on it was ready for collection two hours after it was dropped off. Superb!”

“Beautiful and elegant boutique; this place is wonderful for wedding dress alterations. The bridal seamstress who took care of my wedding dress was simply brilliant. She carefully planned my fitting and carried out the work neatly and beautifully. My main issue with the dress was that it didn`t compliment my figure - the size was correct. The seamstress managed to find a solution without changing the style of the dress. I am ever so grateful”

“My sister was getting married and I was one of the bridesmaids. As the wedding was taking place in December we decided to wear boleros over our bridesmaids dresses. We ordered the dresses online from the USA but couldn`t find ready-made boleros in the UK that would match the fabric of the dresses. I took on the project of researching a place that would make 6 matching boleros in two weeks. I reached out to Alterations Boutique and was invited for a consultation the same day. The dressmaker seemed very experienced and when she saw the dresses she told me where I could find the matching fabric and how much fabric I needed to get. The fabric place was just nearby so I bought the fabric the same day. The rest of the bridesmaids visited the boutique for a fitting the following morning. We only had one more fitting before the boleros were ready. They looked absolutely fantastic and fitted us perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to have a bolero made.”

“A suit of mine that I had altered at another Tailors had not been performed well. I visited AB and was seen by a professional Tailor of theirs that quoted to remedy their poor work. Unfortunately the cost of altering at both tailors made the alterations to the suit very expensive but I was very happy with the work AB did to save my suit. I only wish I had visited them in the first place.”

“Two couture dresses of mine I had for years needed some restyling as they looked a little dated. Based on a recommendation I visited AB and was seen by one of their seamstresses. She did a fantastic job of bring my two dresses up to date by changing the neckline and reshaping the sleeves. Brilliant work.”

“The shoulders on my coat were too wide and did not look quite right. I took the coat to them to look at and they quoted to alter them to fit. I visited a week later and the work was performed flawlessly. I am very satisfied.”

“The dress I had was too long and so were the straps so the dress did not sit correctly. As it was beaded I took it to AB as they were recommended to me by a friend. The work they did was neat and the dress looked original and not tampered with. It now fits well. I shall be back in the future.”

“They did a very smart repair on my leather coat which had a tear. They replaced a whole panel of leather and matched up the leather and stitching perfectly so I could not see how it had even been done. Great”
