“Alterations Boutique did a beautiful job on my Berta wedding dress. The lace was so delicate that I was almost scared to get it altered but Alterations Boutique did a great job. I am very happy indeed!”

“My mother wanted a special outfit made for her 70th birthday and I wanted to help her with the project. We rang AB and visited them do discuss the making. The dressmaker was a lovely lady and she helped us to come up with the design of the dress. We then found the suitable fabric and agreed to come back in two weeks for my mother’s first fitting. It only took three fittings for the dressmaker to complete the project. My mother was vey happy when she tried the dress on – she looked so beautiful in it!”

“My favourite jacket needed taking in and normally I’d use my local dry cleaners for such alterations however I wasn’t completely happy with their work recently so I decided to use proper tailors to work on my favourite jacket. I found AB online and booked myself in. I had complete confidence in the tailor as he knew exactly what to do. I picked up my jacket 1 week later and was very pleased with the new fit of the jacket.”

“Thank you for resizing my coat! My sister gave it to me and although it was almost new I couldn’t wear it as it was too big on the shoulders, arms and waist. You completely nailed the alterations as the coat now fits me perfectly! Great job!”

“Thank you for saving my leather jacket. You are great tailors and I am definitely going to use you again in the future. You came up with a great idea of replacing panels on my leather jacket in order to hide a tear. The jacket is wearable again and looks like new. Great job!”

“My Vera Wang wedding dress needed a lot of alterations as it was too big and too long. I was a bit worried at first as the dress was very expensive but after my first appointment I felt relieved as I could tell the bridal specialist knew exactly what to do. I had several fittings with her and I was very happy with how the dress looked and fit me when I finally came to collect it. It was altered to perfection, steamed and didn’t have a single crease or fold on it.”

“I was getting married in Mexico and wanted to have a special dress made for the ceremony as I couldn’t find anything suitable to wear. I called Alterations Boutique and asked them if they were willing to take on that project. They said they were delighted to their assistance and booked me in for a consultation. The dressmaker was very friendly and experienced. She produced some sketches and we agreed on the design and fabric. The whole process was very enjoyable and stress free. I absolutely love my dress and can’t wait to wear it!”

“I’ve moved to London from Australia and at first I was shocked by how much more expensive dressmaking costs in London. I used to have dresses made in Australia all the time. I had a dress in mind that I wanted to have made. I rang AB and booked an appointment. The consultation took place the same week and it went really well. I was happy with the progress of my dress at each fitting and the final result exceeded my expectations. I would definitely say that AB offers great customer service and the work they do is faultless.”

“Alterations Boutique altered my Burberry winter coat. They did an incredible job as the coat was way too big and had a rip. They repaired the rip vey skilfully by cutting it out and adding extra panels. I was very happy when I collected the coat. Superb!”

“My Italian leather jacket had to be altered as I lost weight and the leather stretched a little bit. My mother gave me the jacket for my birthday so it had sentimental value for me. I was looking for places that could do leather alterations and decided to try Alterations Boutique. Their tailor was very experienced as he was working with leather for more than 20 years. He altered my leather jacket beautifully. I was very happy with the result.”

“As my wedding day was approaching I was trying to take care of things that needed to be done including my wedding dress. I bought it in the US and it was a sample dress. I really liked the style of the dress and the price was reasonable however it was two sizes too big. When I came back to London I contacted Alterations Boutique to book a consultation. The seamstress was very friendly and she assured me she could make my dress look perfect. I attended two more fittings and the dress was ready to collect. The new fit was perfect. Thank you ever so much!”
