“I purchased a 2-piece designer suit for my wedding, however, I wanted to have it tailored to my build. The suit required quite extensive alterations as the jacket was too large on the shoulders and chest, and the trousers were too long and wide. I wanted the suit to look tailored so I was looking for a professional tailor to alter it for me. I found Alterations Boutique online and asked them if they could help me with my suit alterations. They invited me in for a fitting. The tailor was very meticulous and went though every single detail on the suit. The consultation took approximately 15 minutes and he asked me to come back for another fitting two days later. When I collected my suit I was very impressed with the fit. This place is great for suit alterations.”

“I bought a Diane von Furstenberg dress from Selfridges but it didn’t fit me correctly. It was too long and too wide on the waist. I absolutely loved it when I saw it online but unfortunately it didn’t look the same when I tried it on. I looked up alterations places near Selfridges and found Alterations Boutique. I called them and they offered to alter my dress the same day which was amazing. They did a beautiful job on it was ready for collection two hours after it was dropped off which meant I could wear it that weekend. Amazing!”

“I bought a beautiful evening dress but despite it being my size it needed to be tailored to fit me correctly. I took the dress to Alterations Boutique to get it altered. The seamstress was very friendly and welcoming. She pinned the dress and asked me if I liked the fit. I was happy with her suggestions and decided to go ahead with the work. When the dress was ready it looked great on me as was tailored to my body shape rather than size. Very happy indeed.”

“I bought 3 pairs of Japanese jeans and although I was almost happy with the fit I felt that a few tweaks would improve the fit. I contacted Alterations Boutique and booked an appointment with the tailor. I immediately liked his thorough approach and attention to detail. He asked me to come back in a week. When I came to collect the jeans I immediately saw the difference in the fit. They still felt comfortable to wear but the not longer felt baggy. The length was perfect.”

“My wedding dress was altered by an in-house tailor at the place where I bought it. However, when I tried it on two weeks before the wedding I could see a lot of faults which I didn’t notice at the final fitting. I didn’t feel comfortable seeing the same seamstress so I reached out to AB for help. They saw me the next day. The bridal seamstress was absolutely fantastic. Without me saying anything she concentrated on the areas that were bothering me. I collected the dress one week later and it looked absolutely amazing. I am ever so grateful.”

“My dress didn’t fit me and needed letting out. I took it to one tailor but he said the dress couldn’t be let out. It was one of my favourite dresses so I decided to get a second opinion. I found alterations boutique on-line and they booked me in for a fitting. The seamstress at AB confirmed she could help me by adding extra panels to the dress. I couldn’t find the same fabric so decided to go for contrasting panels. The dress was ready two weeks later and I was very excited when I tried it on. It looked even better than it did originally and it fit me perfectly. Thank you so much!”

“This place is great and their prices are quite reasonable. I have used Alterations Boutique a few times and have never been disappointed. “My husband bought me a beautiful beaded blouse and although the size was correct the fit of the blouse had to be improved. I contacted a few places but none of them would alter beaded garments. My friend recommended Alterations Boutique and I booked myself in for a fitting. The seamstress was very friendly. She performed a fitting and confirmed the blouse could be easily altered to fit me. When I came back the blouse fit me perfectly. It was the perfect size and shape for my body shape. I would highly recommend this place.”

“This place is great. I used them several times when I needed to have my suits and shirts tailored. The atmosphere was always warm and friendly and I was always seen on time. I had a lot of misunderstandings with my previous tailor so I was very relieved when I found AB. So far, I have been very happy with this company. My body shape is far from ‘standard’ so I am a regular customer as most of my clothes have to be altered. AB are not as cheap as my last tailor but can be trusted with any type of garment/fabric including suede and leather.”

“My cousin was getting married and I was one of the bridesmaids. As the wedding was taking place in January we decided to wear boleros over our bridesmaids dresses. We ordered the dresses online but couldn’t find ready-made boleros in the UK that would match the dresses. I approached AB and asked them if they could make 4 boleros. I was invited to attend a consultation with the girls. The dressmaker seemed very experienced and when she saw the dresses she advised me where I could find the matching fabric. We only had one fitting before the boleros were ready. They looked absolutely fantastic and fitted us perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to have a bolero made.”

“My winter coat did not fit me correctly and had to be altered. I contacted Alterations Boutique to book an appointment with their tailor. I had quite specific requirements as to how I wanted the coat to fit me. I shared my ideas with the tailor and he pinned the coat so that he could demonstrate to me what the final result would look like. I was asked to come back in 5 days. When I came back to the boutique and tried the coat on I was extremely happy with the fit. The alterations were carried out to a very high standard.”

“Alterations Boutique restyled my mink fur coat and turned it into a gilet. I had to do a lot of research as it wasn’t very easy to find a reputable fur specialist in London. After visiting AB for a consultation I decided to leave it with them as I felt the fur specialist was very confident and knowledgeable. I visited the boutique a couple of times for a fitting before finally collecting my gilet. I absolutely loved the fit and the finish of the gilet. I highly recommend Alterations Boutique for fur alterations.”

“I had my jumpsuit altered here and the seamstress did an amazing job. The jumpsuit had to be resized completely and I wanted to it to fit me slimmer on the legs. “I recently purchased a Hugo Boss suit. Although I liked the style of the suit, it didn’t fit me correctly. I visited Alterations Boutique following my friend’s recommendation. I had to book an appointment but I was seen on time. The tailor performed a fitting which only took about 10 minutes. We discussed what needed to be tweaked in order to achieve the fit I was after. I left the suit with the tailor and was asked to come back a week later. When I came to collect the suit I was very pleased with the way it looked. I tried it on and it fit me exactly the way I wanted. I’d like to mention that the service was great. I used to have my suits altered at my local dry cleaners before and I must say AB definitely exceeded my expectations.”

“My Pronovias wedding dress needed to be altered as I lost quite a bit of weight as the wedding day was approaching. I did some research and found Alterations Boutique. I booked a consultation with their bridal specialist and she immediately put my mind at rest as she was very thorough and knew what she was doing. She scheduled two more fittings and a collection date one week before the wedding. When I collected the dress I was very happy with the result. “Alterations Boutique did an amazing job on my evening dress. It had multiple layers and a beautiful detail on the hem. The dress had to be taken in, shortened and the back had to be lowered. “I highly recommend this company. They made a waistcoat and a matching cravat for my wedding. The service was great and the tailor was very accommodating. I showed him a couple of designs. I had in mind and he helped me choose the best style that would go with my wedding suit. The tailor took my measurements and asked me to come back in a week. He offered me to keep my suit until my next fitting. Both bespoke garments looked great when I tried them on during my next appointment. They were also beautifully finished by hand which was a nice touch. Thank you.”

“My coat needed altering and I was looking for a decent tailor to work on it. I came across this company on Google ad since they had good reviews I decided to give them a go. I had my fitting performed by a tailor ad I liked the fact that he was making suggestions and explaining thins rather than just concentrating on the areas of my concern. We ended up changing quite a lot of things but I wanted the coat to look tailored and fit my shape. The coat was ready 1 week later and I returned to try it on. I was seen by the same tailor an it was ice that he remembered me, knew my name an was acting very friendly. I was very happy with how the coat fit me - I couldn`t fault it. I highly recommend this place.”

“Great tailors and efficient service. Their prices are quite competitive. I had a few suits tailored by them and all of them were altered to a very high standard and hand-finished on the inside. I used to take my jackets to dry-cleaners before but this place is completely different in every single aspect. “Thank you for altering my jumpsuit! You did a wonderful job lowering the back and extending the waist. I absolutely love how it has been transformed. I especially would like to thank the seamstress who was looking after me (sorry I don`t remember her name). She is a genius! The boutique itself is beautifully decorated and the staff are lovely. It`s a nice place with a friendly atmosphere. I am a huge fan.”
