“My winter coat needed a new lining. I called Alterations Boutique to see if they could change it for me. They booked me in for a consultation and I visited them with the coat the following week. They asked me to choose my new lining from their lining catalogue which had hundreds different samples. I chose a really nice matt lining. When I came to collect the coat I couldn’t fault the work even if I wanted to. It was perfect.”

“I was getting married in France but I bought my dress in London so I decided to get it altered there. My husband to be had his suit altered by Alterations Boutique so I also decided to take my wedding dress there. The lady was very nice and friendly. She performed a fitting and gave me advice on how the dress should fit me. I listened to her advice and she pinned the dress. After one more fitting with her and the dress was ready for collection. I was very happy when I collected my dress and the fit was just perfect. Also the work was carried out very efficiently which was very important for me as I was commuting between Paris and London.”

“They did perfect alterations on my new Gucci coat. The original fit was almost perfect apart from the sleeves which were too long and the coat itself needed shortening. I took it to Alterations Boutique and was very pleased with the result. They got the length completely perfect on both the sleeves and the coat and kept the finish completely original. Very neat and precise alterations.”

“I bought a beautiful Jenny Packham wedding dress however the front of the dress had a v-shaped neckline which was too low. I called Alterations Boutique and explained the issue with the neckline. They assured me it could be fixed. I took the dress to them and the bridal specialist offered to insert a modesty panel to cover the deep v area. I wasn’t sure at first but she assured me it would look like part of the original design. I cam to collect the dress two weeks later and was very impressed when I tried the dress on. The neckline was still v-shaped but looked a lot more appropriate for the occasion. Thank you very much!”

“This place is great for wedding dress alterations. The bridal seamstress is very friendly, experienced and meticulous. She did an amazing job on my lace Pronovias dress. The panels had to be re-sized and the sleeves changed. I had a few appointments and every time I tried the dress on it looked better and better. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thank you.”

“They did a beautiful job restyling my old winter coat. It was too old-fashioned and baggy but the seamstress managed to make it look contemporary and stylish. I really liked her suggestions at the fitting, as I wasn’t aware of the full potential of what could be done. I had to come back for a fitting to try the coat on before it was ready. When I finally came to collect the coat the shape was much better and suited my body shape very well. Very impressed. I’m looking forward to wearing it.”

“I recently purchased a couple of work suits. Although the jackets were the perfect size the skirts were slightly too big. I booked an appointment and visited Alterations Boutique to get my skirts altered. The seamstress was great and I could tell she knew her job very well. As I expected, I was happy with the final result. The skirts were altered to perfection.”

“I bought 2 pairs of designer jeans during my trip to Tokyo. However, the fit wasn’t perfect. I took them to Alterations Boutique to see if they could improve the fit although I particularly wanted to retain the detail at the bottom. The tailor performed a fitting and pinned the jeans to create a slimmer fit. He assured me the original detail would be retained completely. When I came back and tried the jeans on they looked fantastic. The fit was just right and the original detail was retained.”

“Excellent service and reasonable prices. Alterations Boutique altered my beaded gown which I wore for my birthday. I was very happy with the result as the dress was one size too big to begin with. The seamstress skilfully altered the length and shoulders keeping the original design intact. The performed the alterations to a very high standard.”

“I highly recommend this place. I had a Tuxedo which needed to be restyled and these guys did an amazing job. I had two fitting with the tailor as my Tuxedo required quite extensive alterations but the trips were totally worth it. When I collected my Tuxedo I was very impressed with the fit. It looked very neat and crisp and suited my body shape much better than before.”

“I was invited to attend a VIP party but wasn’t sure what to wear. When I didn’t find anything suitable in my wardrobe I decided to have a dress made. I had a design in my mind so I set up a consultation with AB to see if they could turn my ‘idea’ into reality. The dressmaker was highly experienced and was sketching as I was describing my dress. I was very happy with the sketch and was looking forward to attending my first fitting. It went really well and I was excited to finally collect my dress. It turned out to be exactly how I imagined and the whole process took just under 3 weeks which is incredible considering the amount of time and effort something like this take! Very happy.”

“I had two suits altered at Alterations Boutique. I previously used my local dry cleaner for suit and shirt alterations but was never completely satisfied with the service. Alterations Boutique is definitely a great place if you need to have your alterations done. They are efficient, professional and the quality of work is fantastic.”

“This place is great for shirt alterations. I had my shirts altered by them a few weeks ago and I must say that these guys are great tailors. When I cam to collect my shirts I was very happy with the new fit. The original fit was quite baggy so I was very pleased with the new tailored fit!”

“My wedding dress needed to be tailored and I visited a few bridal specialists before going ahead with Alterations Boutique. Their bridal specialist won me over as I felt she really cared about her job and wanted me to be happy with the outcome. I left the dress with her and when I came back for a fitting and saw the dress I congratulated myself on making the right decision. The dress looked amazing. Thank you ever so much!”

“I had a favourite leather jacket in my wardrobe which had to be altered and relined. It was a on off purchase so wanted to make sure I was taking it to leather specialists. Having done some research I’ve decided to take it to Alterations Boutique. I booked an appointment and was seen on time. The leather specialist performed a fitting and asked me to choose the new lining. The jacket was ready 5 days later and it looked absolutely great! I highly recommend this place – they are very professional and offer efficient service.”

“My old dinner suit no longer fit me correctly. Instead of buying a new suit I chose to invest in tailoring the old one. A friend of mine recommend Alterations Boutique.. Although, I didn’t find them to be the cheapest tailors I would happily use them again as the result was totally worth it. Thank you very much.”
