“I decided to take piano lessons and headed to Allegro in Westcliff on Sea. Their staff were excellent. Both Ben and my assigned teacher Lorraine help me choose an electronic piano, without recommendation to a particular brand or any sales pressure. It was subsequently delivered on time and assembled by their friendly and helpful team. I have made further purchases and found the staff professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you Jessica G. My first piano lesson was free and have been with the same teacher throughout my instruction. Time to move on now though! But I would like to thank Allegro Music and their staff for excellent service provision.”

“I recently approached Allegro Music (Westcliff Branch) regarding a biscuit pick up for my new Gretsch Resonator guitar. I Spoke with Andy Fieldwick as I know him to be a very knowledgeable member of staff with regards to guitars and has been very helpful to me with enquires, advice and purchases of all things musical I have made in the past at the shop. Andy helped me source the one that was right for me and clearly explained to me the options that I had. The work Andy did in fitting my pick up was nothing short of first class to say the least and was carried out efficiently and very quickly. Andy kept in touch with me during the whole process, which is a rarity with music shops these days. I have been a local musician for the past twenty years and these days despite of other music shops in the area I would say that 9/10 I would always visit Allegro Music first. “I did a lot of research online and in some Denmark St stores before chosing my digital piano. I then headed to Allegro, and met Steve. He was candid and honest, respecting my budget, and actually demonstrating that a cheaper model (YDP162) would be more suitable than the portable piano I had decided upon. I was encouraged to try both, and was given the space to go away and think it over. I returned to by the YDP162, ordering an upgraded stool. The piano was delivered in good time with excellent communication, and is perfect for my needs. This is a big purchase for me, but I haven't regretted it for a second. Allegro are very fair on price (it's not a steal, but you won't get much cheaper) and have been excellent in terms of customer service. Thanks! Clive”

“I have recently purchased a Tyros 5 five from Allegro music. I found them very helpful especeily when it came to downloading the 2 free premium voice and style packs. I was helped by Ben from the Southend shop, he could not have been more helpful, thanks Ben. I only wished I lived nearer I would certainly go to there music school,if you get the same help from them there you would soon be playing your instrument. Thank you all once again. I'm learning by myself, I cant find a teacher near to me, but still I'm having fun, this keyboard is fantastic By the way I'm 80 years young, and it's keeping my brain box active Thank you all at Allegro John Ball PS best wishes to Ben”

“I bought my first ever piano from Allegro Music, Chelmsford. Having never played an instrument previously I was unsure as to what kind of piano would be best suited, Allegro Music were very helpful and informative without trying to push a particular brand, and I felt under no pressure to make any purchase. I was also provided with a free music lesson and have been with the same teacher ever since.”

“I have recently purchased my second tyros from Allegro Music. Over the last 15 years or so I have also purchased 2 Technics organs and two other keyboards from Allegro Music. All the staff I have met over this time have a deep knowledge of what they sell and will advise whether or not you are there to make a purchse. Over the last two years I have been using the Tyros 4 then Tyros 5 keyboards. Jo Cocklin is the person to ask for help ,advice and information. This lady has a lot of patience and is clearly dedicated to her job. The Tyros keyboard manuals don't do their repective keyboards they come with justice. I suppose if they did they would be a lot bigger and costly than they are. Jo must have realised this quite early on and has set up what she calls the Tyros club which has locations in the three areas the shops are located. The club's purpose being to help Tyros owners (new or experienced) to discover what you can actually do with them that their manuals don't explain well or not at all. Through going to these meetings every other month Jo gives talks on what the club members want to know or are confused about. It does seem that these keyboards are as good as your imagination will let them. Ron (Sudbury)”

“I purchased my Technics in October 2014 and have been very pleased with it. Delivery was made exactly as promised and my lessons since then with Annette have been very enjoyable and I feel I am making progress. All the staff that I have come into contact with have been very helpful and whenever I arrive for my lessons greet me sincerely and also say goodbye. This creates a very trusting atmosphere and a place where you can enjoy going. I do talk about Allegro to my friends and give my good opinion.”

“I purchased an electric piano from Allegro in 2012 for my son to start piano lessons at school. I found the staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable and there was no hard sell. We debated between pianos and visited the store on a few occasions. When we came to a decision, the sale was conducted smoothly and the piano was delivered at the date/time agreed and installed by two very friendly and helpful gentlemen. I have had no problems with the piano. I decided myself to have lessons at Allegro and have been having weekly lessons with Annette Ward, which have been enjoyable. Annette is an excellent and extremely patient teacher. The staff at Allegro are always friendly and it must be a great place to work as I see the same happy faces every week!”

“I purchase a second hand Pian and had a problem with one of the pedals sticking, they quickly rectified this by sending out an engineer, it was probably something taht could have occurred in transit. From that point on its been very good.”

“The Allegro Music Shop has a good selection of instruments and music and is a great place to browse. I have purchased firstly a keyboard and later a digital piano. I also buy music regularly. At all times the staff are friendly and very helpful. I much prefer the atmosphere of a shop rather than searching on line. I also have the advantage of keyboard lessons at the shop.”
