“I really enjoy my keyboard lessons with Annette. She is always so encouraging and helpful with any difficulties I may have. Playing my keyboard helps keep my brain active and lessons with Annette are very important in maintaining the pleasure and interest I get from my hobby”

“I was asked to do a review of the web site by Annette. I think the HOME screen is very compact and busy, why overlay onto a larger back drop. Use more of the space to prevent user from having to scroll down. Not all your sub screens have a HOME icon, therefore no quick way to get back to HOME screen. This is very prominent when you get to the Training Academy. Also the CUSTOMER REVIEW tab on linear ribbon is faulty, no page available, but you can get to the reviews by using one of the vertical ribbons in later screens. Could give a poor image. Within the Training Academy it asks what centre you want e.g. Chelmsford, when you get there and you select what instrument you want to learn, it asks you at what centre. Maybe its me, but ask what instrument then what centre. Otherwise don't give choice when user goes the 'Centre' page - hope this makes sense. The overall website gives a lot of information and therefore is great, graphics etc. are very good. Liked using it, just sort out the navigations bits (maybe a bit more testing of the links etc) Hope this is helpful,”

“I purchased a guitar for my Grandson from Allegro Music and the so staff where extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful. I also visit the Chelmsford shop on a weekly basis for a piano lesson and it's a pleasure as the staff are so welcoming. Annette my piano tutor, I can't praise enough. She has a great gift as a music teacher. She has lots of patience and makes the lesson very enjoyable.”

“People there are friendly, helpful and approachable. There is all the music paraphernalia you need and if not they will advise you on where to get it or get it for you. I love my music lessons there. I have met some wonderful students, the very young, the not so young and even those in between. The teachers are helpful and friendly and put you at ease. Allegro the place to go.”

“The piano has featured in the life of my family and for many years I have wanted to learn to play. Having summoned sufficient courage to approach Allegro, I found the staff in their shop most helpful and approachable and my piano teacher amazingly patient and very encouraging. I very much wish I had started to learn the piano a lot earlier and thoroughly enjoy my lessons. I would recommend Allegro to anyone wishing to pursue music.”

“All members of staff are extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. When I go for keyboard lessons all staff greet me on arrival and say goodbye when I leave. My key board lessons are extremely enjoyable. I feel challenged but not threatened and feel that I am making good progress with an excellent teacher. Many thanks!”

“Andy and the team have been really helpful and friendly giving us advice to set up our U3A Ukulele group. Their knowledge has helped many of our group pick the right instrument, and nothing seems to be too much trouble. You never feel pushed into any purchase and have the time to make the right choice. “I have been learning the piano with Annette for the past three and a half years. She has a gift for teaching that is obvious for anyone to see. My lessons are a highlight of my week as I continue to make progress. The idea of 4 people learning at the same time in a one hour session is surprisingly successful and good value.”

“It's been a few years since I bought my daughter a Yamaha keyboard from Allegro Music, but I remember the experience as a pleasant one. I had no idea what to buy and with no knowledge of music, was floundering. I put my trust in the guys at the Colchester store and they didn't disappoint. They didn't try to sell me a top of the range piece, they chose a keyboard right for my daughters level with scope to improve and considered my budget. I have now recovered the keyboard from my daughter and am having lessons myself at Allegro's Music Academy in Colchester. Annette Ward my tutor, represents everything good about Allegro Music, such a pleasure to be taught by her. Who knows , I may even get good enough to spend real money on a posh keyboard. Well done Allegro. Ken Holland”

“If you are looking for an outstanding music tutor then you couldn't do better than Allegro Music's Annette. I feel very lucky to have found such a gifted teacher who has the ability to adapt her approach to the needs of each individual student. I began as a (very) mature learner with no previous experience and she couldn't have been more encouraging and patient.”

“Allegro Music in Westcliff has a wide range of instruments and always has new pedals to try. The staff are welcoming and helpful, even if you're not sure what you need and you always get the same great service whether you want a pack of strings or top of the range guitar. Highly recommended. Tom”
