“I have been learning the piano with Annette for the past three and a half years. She has a gift for teaching that is obvious for anyone to see. My lessons are a highlight of my week as I continue to make progress. The idea of 4 people learning at the same time in a one hour session is surprisingly successful and good value.”

“Helpful on the purchase of my piano, as little experience myself of such a purchase and needed guidance. Price was good. Delivery was excellent and set up in position ready to use. Since bought many music books which have been good. Would recommend.”

“It's been a few years since I bought my daughter a Yamaha keyboard from Allegro Music, but I remember the experience as a pleasant one. I had no idea what to buy and with no knowledge of music, was floundering. I put my trust in the guys at the Colchester store and they didn't disappoint. They didn't try to sell me a top of the range piece, they chose a keyboard right for my daughters level with scope to improve and considered my budget. I have now recovered the keyboard from my daughter and am having lessons myself at Allegro's Music Academy in Colchester. Annette Ward my tutor, represents everything good about Allegro Music, such a pleasure to be taught by her. Who knows , I may even get good enough to spend real money on a posh keyboard. Well done Allegro. Ken Holland”

“If you are looking for an outstanding music tutor then you couldn't do better than Allegro Music's Annette. I feel very lucky to have found such a gifted teacher who has the ability to adapt her approach to the needs of each individual student. I began as a (very) mature learner with no previous experience and she couldn't have been more encouraging and patient.”

“Allegro Music in Westcliff has a wide range of instruments and always has new pedals to try. The staff are welcoming and helpful, even if you're not sure what you need and you always get the same great service whether you want a pack of strings or top of the range guitar. Highly recommended. Tom”

“I have found allegro music a music shop that is easy and friendly to use, the friendly knowledgeable staff will always offer help and advice but equally will leave you to browse or even try out instruments which I feel is important as some of us can be shy. It is a shop with no big egos as with some others. Always sound help and advice!”

“Service was very quick. The lady on the phone (Emma?) provided me with all the information I needed and helped me to order the keyboard. The payment was done straight away. I got my delivery on time, it was all nicely packed. At first I could not find a power supply but after a quick email to Emma I found it. Excellent!”

“Having made my first purchase from Allegro Music I would thoroughly recommend them. My contact was with Emma and she is very helpful, professional and very speedy to reply to my many questions via email! I also found there pricing to be the most competitive for my upgrade from a Yamaha CVP-505 to the latest CVP-609 model. The whole process has been fast, efficient and painless and I have been kept informed of progress through-out the whole time. They will definitely be the first I contact when next upgrading my instrument. Lee G”

“Have really appreciated my first contact and purchase from Allegro. Both Julian and Emma were extremely helpful in both providing technical guidance, the benefits of one keyboard versus another but without heavy pressure to buy a more expensive instrument. Both were extremely patient about providing further details when asked and I have particularly valued Emma's help and support about finance and making the purchase happen so smoothly. Emma also was extremely helpful sorting out a slight delivery problem (not caused by Allegro) and kept extremely calm when I 'pulled her leg' to say the wrong keyboard had arrived! She remained very professional and calm! I cannot recommend Allegro music too highly and I look forward to an ongoing relationship with them as I get to grips with might my Tyros 5 keyboard.
