“Unfortunately the delivery company they used, Parcel Force, managed to loose the goods. Absolutely nothing happened on their website for several days while the site just logged it as “Advised”. They eventually said that it had never been collected,although all the others collected that day were delivered. I was refunded the cost of the item but Parcel Force must have double checked and the goods arrived the following day albeit a week late. By this stage a replacement had been ordered and was delivered on the same day. I now have to return the goods, a hassle I could live without? Allcoks were fine but they were let down by the delivery service they used.”

Thank you for your review, I would just like to take the opportunity to apologize on behalf of Parcel Force. We send a lot of parcels using this service as we are restricted on choice due to type of items we sell. I would like to clarity that the website in question is in fact that of Parcel Force and not Allcocks. We believe the review is harsh as we ourselves could not have done anymore to try and resolve this situation. We were in total communication at all times, both with the customer and Parcel Force, and we took the decision to refund the customer in full before the parcel had been found so as to try and keep everyone happy at this very busy period.

“I ordered a hat for my husband but the wrong size was accidentally sent. Allcocks were quick to apologise and immediately sent out the correct size without waiting for me to return the first one. Their customer service was courteous and efficient.”

“The fleece is extremely well made and very warm. Maybe a tad more than I would normally pay for a fleece, but we worth every penny. Allcocks staff were extremely helpful and informative. Parcel arrived exactly when they said it would. A good experience, will definitely do it again.”

“I was delighted to find that Allcocks stocked a range of Hanwag wide fit walking boots which are hard to get in the UK. I ordered a pair which amazingly were delivered in 2 days. Unfortunately the boots were a bit small so I needed a half size up which wasn't available. I returned the boots and got what was probably the quickest refund I've ever had. Shame about the boots but marvellous service.”

Hi Thomas, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we are sorry you did not receive a confirmation email, seems maybe a technical hitch at that point as we have tested the system and it is still sending out confimation emails, due to the name of our store, sometimes the emails end up in the spam/trash folder? Very sorry, I hope your happy with the rest of our service.

“Rapid response , quick delivery, professional staff. Will use again, as trust me some other companies in the same line of work are a disgrace . I have ordered a crossbow from one shop, they charged me for it ... and 2 months later I still have not received it. Well done great service.”
