I ordered two pairs of chinos - both the same size re waist and leg length. Two different sizes arrived with one pair having a longer leg length. As it happens , I will be having them tailored to fit my requirements, so I have kept both pairs. It does seem a bit sloppy to have this happen though.

Terrible returns process. I purchased over £250 worth of boots but still have to pay £7.95 to return via DPD. I purchased return label online but still haven't received it. I then have to print out the label myself - I don't own a printer! Following that, I need to make a 30 mile round trip to the nearest DPD drop-off point By the nature of the products you sell, I would think that most of your customers will live rurally. Therefore, would it not make more sense to use Royal Mail for pre-paid labels so that customers can make returns at their local post office?

Quick to take the money but long delivery times. On returned items, a standard policy of 14 WORKING days. Disappointed with service.

I ordered a pair of Hoggs shire boots in a size 11, I needn't received them for virtually 2 weeks after I ordered them, I had no correspondence to let me know the progress on the delivery, I called twice but gave up and emailed instead to find out when I could expect to see them. They arrived a day or two later. I've since had to return the boots as they're too snug on me, and the next size up is out of stock. I'm a bit disappointed that the boots took so long to arrive, but also that I didn't receive a reply to my email chasing the boots.

The walking boots arrived later than expected but that was acceptable. However I needed to return them, and your instructions suggested I buy a DPD return label. No where could I find out if this gave insurance cover for the full value. I tried 5 times to call but could not get a reply. I bought a DPD label with insurance cover!!

Looking at the photo of the jacket,it appears you have received the Olive jacket. The jacket is only made in Olive or Black and looking at the picture the jacket doesn't appear Black. Ordered on a Sunday. Delivery quoted at 3-5 days. Sent email on third day (Wed) requesting update. 'Sales' email address bounced. I called on Thursday to chase. Was told my order would be dispatched the following week due to Easter, even though Thursday took us to 4 working days. I informed A Farley if I did not get an update that day on shipping, I would request refund. Later that day I go confirmation from DPD and my order was delivered on Saturday. Its a shame that I had to resort to a threat of a refund to get my order shipped within the quoted delivery time. I had ordered other clothes from two other retailers at the same time and both arrived before this order with no delays. My order itself was shipped correctly, however I have to say that Alan Paines colour description of 'Dark Navy' is very misleading. It is actually Dark Green and a lighter green inside the Gilet. Overall, while the price was good, the service from A Farley was not as expected.

Before purchasing some Harkila wellington boots, I tried to speak to one of your advisers on the phone. I waited at least 45 minutes but gave up. I therefore went ahead and placed the order but - as I feared - the boots are large for the size and I now have to return them at my own cost. This could have been avoided.

Like many online retailers, Farley takes payment before goods despatch which sometimes is 2-3 weeks Also no free returns unlike many similar companies Product range is good, but delivery times slow

Mixed service, albeit resolved in an amicable manner meaning I came away satisfied. I still think that in this day and age, 10 days to pack and deliver is excessive.

The item I purchased was too small and had to return it. Not their fault. Disappointed to see they recommend DPD for return at your own cost at £7.95. Free returns are standard in most online stores.

Bought a pair of Ariat wellingtons for my wife which was advertised with a free boot bag. When the wellingtons arrived there was no boot bag, but a £10 voucher saying that supplies had run out. Not impressed and really disappointed, would have been happy to wait till they were available, also noticed that boot bags were double the price of the voucher. Not a good customer service.

The product I bought was perfect, But on the Web site I clicked for free 48 hour delivery and it took 2 weeks to arrive not good when it was a present for someone.
